    Guys, this video is not about speedcubing, is about how a 12 year old figured how to solve the cube by himself when there weren't any tutorials and how that made him successful at a short age

      Most speed cubers technically have never even "solved" it, they learned other people's discovered algorithms, so what this 12 year old kid did was actually more impressive since he actually figured it out in his own

      Yes, because you cubers/cubist know the code that is why it is a "piece of cake" to you guys. We don't so it is difficult for us. If cubist did not know the algorithms or code to it, they will stumble just like us.

      Jesusandsteph Forever While to some extent this is the case, cubers do tend to have a better understanding of the cube and how it moves and would have a much easier time figuring it out than a non-cuber

    Jesus Christ all the 9 year old cubers are coming out. yes we under stand you can solve it fast, anyone can do it in under 30 seconds with a little bit of practice. the difference back then was, this was before cfop before zz before all the major methods. this kid made his own method without any help from anyone else and that is extremely impressive.

    He seemed like he was a bright and intelligent kid. Wow I didn't know there were billions of ways to get it wrong but only one way to get it correct. The Rubik's Cube will always been a staple classic toy/gadget of the 1980s.

      Rubik's brand is stupid since it takes 6 seconds to turn and 3 minutes to pop

      cadnaan caden well then if he looked at the shattered pieces would the shattered pieces shatter until they became dust and wouldn’t reflect anymore or would the mirror turn to dust immediately on the first reflection

    Cubers didn’t learn how to solve from scratch, they watched a RUclips video. To be able to find out a solution your self... now that is incredible

      ​@@hypercubemaster2729Taught myself and could avg. about 50 moves at medium pace and also figured out about 200 other puzzles of the twisting type. Most recently I solved Puppet Cube 2 but I'm still working on Jumble prism from time to time.

    Amazing kids are always coming up with amazing ideas, and the ideas are getting more incredible every year. Don't you think it's about time we stop steam lining education and start keeping a close watch for gifted children. Then apply a different style of education just for them. One that will challenge and entertain them and guide them towards a exceptional future?

    I just love the way he took almost a year and the cubers is just like solving a cube in 3.21 seconds or 23.27 seconds

    A RUBIK'S cube has over 43 quintillion ways it can be scrambled. Also, many SpeedCubers use a method created by Jessica Fridrich called CFOP (cross, F2L, OLL, PLL), AKA the Fridrich method.

    yeah, I have a video of it using more official scrambles. I use a speedcubing method called the Fredrich method. I have even been to an official World Cube Association Competition and I am pretty sure I am going to the world championships in Las Vegas

    I can solve it in about 8 minutes so to the average joe, I’m a wizard but a cuber would know that I’m still reliant on “beginner” algorithms
    ...I learned yesterday so no one gets to judge my time 🐜

    It is such a shame that they used modern cubes for the Flashbacks. As a cuber this feels just not right.I know most of you won't notice, but it really isn't the same for me. As a documentary about the beginnings of Mercedes-Benz and a A-Type is being used to explain the past Revolutions...

    Rubics cube's are easy. There's an algorithm to solve it, the problem is most people don't stick to a pattern that works and keep trying different things, thus never solving it

    It took me no time to solve Rubik's cube since now i already know how to. Even if i put any effort to solve this now it would be only a matter of time therefore i don't need to consume any time at all hence no time spent for me to solve it.

    Actually, there are a little less than 4^6 solved states if you take into account the center rotations.
