6 years later, and this album is a classic in my eyes. This album was beautiful when it came out... I love watching artist and bands grow and experiment. I feel like if they kept just putting out the same thing out over and over, I would get extremely bored.. and like with Bring Me The Horizon, people complain about their style changing. Guys not everything has to be heavy for it to be good. If you like their heavier stuff, go listen to their older stuff, if you like everything the band performs (like me) listen to it all. Personally I don't prefer either over the other, it is all great. And yes SWS are still post hardcore, one album doesn't dictate their whole sound lol, they're still gonna perform heavier stuff

I feel like they softened some of the songs and amped up some of the songs i.e. kick me so that Kellin could extend his vocal range to do more. We wouldn't want him to end up like Worsnop, having to leave the band cause he can't sing like it anymore.
C'mon guys.. It's been five years since they released With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear.. After release their guitarists left the band and Jesse & Jack joined. AND in 5 years they have grown up as musician and as people too.. It's okay that they change style.. This album is strongest and most solid album SWS have ever wrote.. There are a lot of people who are complaining about the new 'sound' that Sleeping with Sirens has gotten into. I don't understand why so many people have to be so opposed to it. What's wrong with a band changing their tone? Music shouldn't be defined by it's sound, it should be defined by the meaning it gives. Sleeping with Sirens, especially with this album, has always had a lot of meaning behind each lyric and honestly they changed their 'sound' for the better. As we grow older, as do they, and everyone becomes more mature. They still want to send their songs to the fan base they have as well as capture new listeners. As the listeners that have been here grow older, it seems a lot of them don't want to listen to the 'screaming' that a lot of bands still do. Sleeping with Sirens seemed to have addressed this, either passively or forcefully, either way making their music sound more appealing. And as I said, especially with this album, their songs have so much meaning, but why is that not what people search for? Why only the way the song is presented? I can't understand people sometimes. Yea, some of the songs are a little out there but all and all it's a fantastic album with a lot of backbone.
