I just love Kratos as a father, yeah, he was already one but we didn't really get to see what he was like, it was more about the action. Here, we get a man who has moved on from his bloody past as he tries to make a better life for his son so he doesn't end up the same as him. Yeah, there is still some kickass action and brutal scenes, but the main focus is between Kratos and Atreus's relationship.
I hear a lot of people say they like the old, bloodthirsty, and rage filled Kratos. I don't agree with those people. I like this "new" Kratos better. Don't get me wrong. If anyone wants to be nitpicky, technically he DID take damage. In a few Valkyrie fights they landed hits, but since he triggered Spartan Rage the rage meter went down instead of health. Amazing and I definitely can't play this well, but still.

When a Draugr hits Kratos' shield, that's not a hit because Kratos takes no damage. The same applies to hits while invincible in Spartan Rage. The Valkyrie have certain attacks that cannot be blocked, dodged, or parried. In the hitless community, activating your Spartan Rage is completely fair game.

Just completed GMGOW+, and even with really good NG+ armor, enchantments and stats from a previous NG+ save file, I got my ass handed to me on a silver platter by Magni, Modi, those two trolls and the final Baldur fight☠️Mf hits like a train, and dudes quick as hell. Though he’s a tad easier in the final phase.
I just noticed right after the first fight cutscene, Baldur says "you should never have come to Midgard". If Baldur already knew Kratos came from Greece, which is technically still in Midgard, why would he say that? It kind of implies that he thinks Kratos is just some giant from Jotunheim and not the literal Ghost of Sparta.
Becuase he wanted faye and thought kratos was faye “i expected you to be taller” implying that he was looking for a giant “slow and old” he isnt saying that kratos is slow and old becuase 1. Gods get more powerful with age 2. Giants are mortal which makes them get old
I found a video that he got a video all bosse with no damage on level 1, without even upgrades weopens, thats the most thing ever seen. Try that way...

After the first 2 times this happened I ignored it, but this entire video is just a blatant lie. You probably modded it so your health doesnt decrease, but you get hit MULTIPLE times in this video

Sometimes when he messed up he would use rage to cancel out the damage but still he's pretty good
