Thank you, Alan! Rock on!
What where those drums in the beginning and also i really like this vid i just wish i has a little bit more bass the keyboard sound a little like a saxophone
Sounds perfect! What voices you using? Lol. I’m trying to figure this out on my Yamaha moxf8.
Which sound are referring to? You're hearing about 4 different patches coming from different keyboards. The "Flangy' string sound a combination of a Korg Triton module and Korg Microstation keyboard... I'm using the S80 as a midi controller...no sounds coming from the S80 for this particular patch. The Lead solo sound is coming is combination of Yamaha An1x and SonicProjects OPX-PRO ll software. Both the An1x and OPX are running through a long Tap Delay... as you can hear the echo cycles back around for about 3-times.
@@JoelBouchillon Thanks for the info. I'm very new at this side of things. I'll read about a few things you've mentioned. I hope to get close to that echoing "whale" sound. I found some tab for these solos, so that will help me. I only have a yamaha moxF8 as of now. I'm trying to figure out what to use as a 2nd keyboard/synth. I love the 70's and 80's! Thanks again!
@@robertmurphy9511 hey Robert, I have recently purchased a MOXF8 with the Flash-drive and was able to sample and completely rebuild program all the patches on the MOXF8. I’ll put up another video using the new patches on the MOXF8.
Man , This was Great !!! You nailed that vintage synth sound ! If your in an 80s frame of mind...check out my Magnum Pi Trip recreation on my channel. Im stuck in the 1980s as well.
Yea man...80's rule!
close enough lol
