This was an amazing tutorial. Thank you so much! Legit lowkey changed my life - I have a lotttt of pictures and screenshots of lecture notes for my classes so this was so incredibly helpful for me. A quick fix for me whenever I got too many typos was to just make sure I made the image bigger by zooming in or splitting up page long images into half or thirds. Thanks again!
Can u also detect text from a image that is given in the code as a coordinate in the reader.readtext thing, so its scanning an defined area?
Did you have an idea how to replace tesseract with paddle ocr when using ocrmypdf

I did try to extract the Chinese text, it takes an eternity, like an hour, surely the guys will improve
For me it was not an hour...but it was a long time!!! Yes, I believe they will improve, the project have several updates and is very active!
@@AllTechPage I know, no very practical, surely they will improve along the way
I used to SP language and works very well 10 seconds a Letter Note from newspaper, Using Ubuntu 20 do not work the easyocr library... i don't know why.. Just exit before finish to install, Using AWS Lightsail the basic computer... Thanks tor the idea @alltech.

I have extracted English language text from images using pytesseract with a 90 accuracy, but extracting Chinese text I failed until now
I was thinking about that too...this one can be slow...but maybe is doing a better job in other languages.

I want to convert more than thousands jpeg and pdf which is in urdu hand written language i want to fetch the text from it and convert into word file i m trying to do by using machine learning this video helps me alot.
