You have to watch the series to understand this scene because it is so powerful and amazing. I was in shock after I saw this for the first time, it was so good I just felt so taken by surprise in the best way possible, the development of Sterling's realization hitting her is just so incredible!
also if you go like super analitical , the clues were there and April´s face when she realize she was grabing her was like omg am not my dad kind of moment
I remember watching the whole show the night it came out. I was so bored but I didn’t have anything else to watch. My jaw dropped at this scene, the true power this show holds is amazing.
ya know, this scene really hits different when you've gone through the same experience yourself. going about your life as a teen, meeting people, experiencing things, and feeling as if something is missing, or even wrong with you. until there comes a day when you see her, get to meet her, know her, being hugged by her for the first time and feeling as if you're about to combust into the millions of butterflies that were making your stomach go insane all day just because you saw her enter the room in the first period. you absolutely freak out about it, but underneath the uncertainty, everything finally makes sense. it's one of the most terrifying realizations you could have, but the one that makes you feel as free as you have ever felt in your entire life. kudos to the writers of this show, it sucks it didn't get picked, but this scene alone left an important mark, and for that i'm grateful :)
"you screwed me over then and you screwed me over now, i didn't think our relationship could get worse... i was wrong" me at netflix for cancelling this show
I think a lot of people missed this point. The fact that April’s verbal and physical aggression was what got her off is super interesting. If the show didn’t get cancelled it would have been a good opportunity to talk about kink and consent. But alas.
Estoy loca? Tal vez
So I just started watching this show today and I'm currently at this part and I'm trying to understand... Did Sterling back out of winning because she genuinely felt bad and couldn't do it and April's aggressive reaction sparked a realization that she was attracted to her or did she come to that realization before April got aggressive knowing that if she let him win, April would get pissed and she WANTED her to get pissed because it would give her a reason to get off? I feel like it's the latter but if someone could give me their interpretation or some type of explanation, that'd be great! :)

All it took was April getting aggressive🤣

rigby16 how does this relate to her dad?
@@vc8168 April's dad beat up a woman.
