I feel like if the story was told from April’s perspective, it would have been clear VERY early on that she’s had conflicting emotions for Sterling this whole time.
I don’t know, I love it but it kinda feels like that was fast. Sterling should be in *denial*, she accepted her attraction to April way too fast for a girl who though she was straight days ago and who goes to a Christian school lmao where everything is very conservative. But the producers probably didn’t want to play that ‘denial’ card I guess.. (just saying, but I don’t watch the actual show I don’t know if she has ever spoken about her sexuality in the beginning of the show or not)
You should watch the entire show. Sterling is an optimistic girl who wants to stay true to herself without hiding anything. Hence, she is so willing to accept her feelings for April. It’s likely that it’s always been there but she only realised it after she broke up with Luke (her ex) because the break allowed her to grow and find herself.
The sisters are VERY unconservative despite their surroundings. There's at least three dirty sex jokes between them per episode and they cons mantle talk about wanting to have sex and actually having sex and they've even had sex with their boyfriends in their classrooms at school. Like the show and this chick are way wilder than they appear. This little love story is like the most grounded thing in the show
