I have got to say your cinematography is incredible, I have watched many videos on RUclips over the years and yours is the best. I am 62 yoa and I am so impressed. You should produce full length documentaries of the overland lifestyle and community. Thank you for what you do from a retired firefighter who wants to pursue this lifestyle. Been an off-roader for many years primarily on side by sides just recently purchased a Rubicon Gladiator that I’m building out for over landing from the North Georgia mountains USA. Please continue what you are doing and best of luck in the future. Take care
WOW. It's awesome that you guys even respond the way you do. Most other channels could care less about responding as long as they can get the views. Thank you
What a challenge Shaun! You all did great. Got to give a Teddy a “ great job award”. Looks like it might be time to give the TrailWrecker a little TLC. Thanks as always for making my Monday complete!
I drove this trail in 1990... the big hill was called Falcon Hill at that time. There was a plaque nailed to a tree that told the story of 3 guys in the 70's who drove up the hill somehow in a two wheel drive Ford Falcon. Legendary!
Whipsaw is a proving ground for sure. My favorite was when you said Memorial Rock needed just the right amount of power. Next scene, Shaun bringing ALL the power.
I like it when the video cut to Shaun’s cockpit. Did you see his face? The face expression was priceless! I bet he was thinking please don’t hit my bottom while throttling up the hill :p fun times!
I just bought a 09 Wrangler Unlimited. 4”lift with 35’s on it. Heavy duty aftermarket bumpers front and rear. Love the damned thing. Unfortunately or fortunately I guess it depends on how you see it we don’t have trails like that in North Missouri so I won’t be testing at your level. Not sure I’d test at that level anyway. Some of the shit you cats do would pucker me up. Great channel dude. Keep the great content coming.
I’ve been watching your channel now for a little over a year got in too 4x4ing 2 1/2 years ago 3 months ago went into a White Rock Dodge told them you sent me so hopefully you got your gas card LOL You’ve also inspired me to do my own channel I’m working on my first video right now of hut lake ! Would love to Kalab at some point hit a trail together that would be awesome
When is the best time for this trail as far as bugs. I’m from Portland OR and been doing some research about the trail. A lot of review say the area is bad with bugs but didn’t see anyone bring it up on this video. Thanks
Sick video as always man. 2:32 those wheels are atrocious though in my opinion. Poor jeep is wondering why this mall parking lot is so rough. 4:54 "my allergies" lmao I would have died. I literally and actually started sneezing just watching the pollen float off that tree
He did great for open front diff, 33's. It was also a really good video. I would love to see that on 35's also, that and a locker up front, It would be a beast. But still behind the ol wrecker
@@joemcgee2918 looks like his 4 runner was later gen. I, thougt it came with a standard rear locker. Chef John need to get sets of 35s ASAP. Whose gonna if he gets a locker too😄
Has a rear locker. 35's need a frame chop (I believe that is what its called) to fit which he wasn't into out of the gate. I am sure you guys can convince him by showing the love
Chef john, put on sets of 35s please. A minor body trim in order to put on those 35s won't even cause a little problem on your vehicles transmission, your lovely mods and setup etc. @casey please pass on the msg cause currently don't know his channel nor got his email id.
That 4runner has a crawl control, climbing that rock shouldn't be a problem for that 4runner. But instead he damaged his rear bumper. Wow. How do you own a trd off road and don't use that feature. 🤔

Yep for sure !!
Thanks guys! It's been working well for us lately.✌
@@jasonwall9296 Love that XJ!
I need more videos and info on that XJ I am in love!
You read my mind!👍
Nice! Sucks you took some trail damage.

Thanks for watching!
That 5th gen 4runner is impressive, following the well prepared Jeep's is not easy!
Thanks for the video.
Regards from Bolivia!
Thanks!
I used to watch DDE, but this is so much better.
We are the new DDE :) #DirtyandDangerous crew

Good to see you airing down properly Sean
What an EPIC Trip again this year, Shaun.. Thanks
Some of your trails are sooo! Tight. They make the Jeeps look huge 🦧 Michigan
Braun's Yota got stuck? Lies. I don't believe it. 😁
That XJ is probably the best build for this terrain, looks like it has ridiculously low gear ratio. Nice!
I love the full send that you guys do on rock faces!
Teddy straight into the tree….Dying
I had no choice. Friggn thing came out of no where. 😂
Way to go Teddy!
Cheers Bill! Thank you! 🍻🤙
Damn that tail light just popped right off!
Love these series Bc there is 3 Glady’s!! ❤️
Wow!! That trail looks amazing!
Shaun you need some bump stops for your spare tire it’s shaking all over …. I used some energy suspension ones for my TJ no more rattling !
Another great video to brighten my Monday Shaun.... Y'all seem like a great bunch of guys! That Whipsaw Is tuff!! 🥓
You guys have the most fun!
"...with authentic battle DAMAGE!!" needs to be on a t-shirt
Love the adventure!

I’ve always wondered if you got any re-gearing done to your truck after adding bigger tires

Great video I loved how the Jepps dominated the trail!
Hey @The StoryTill Now What song is that at the 1:50 mark?
You guys are hardcore. You should be selling these videos as a training course.
Shaun you and your Friends are Warriors
Excellent series. Whipsaw 2021 weeeoooooooo!!
love seeing a 5th gen 4runner in the crew
🔥🔥🔥this video had all the bacon
You make me want to ride. Great video. Keep inspiring.
Closest I’ll ever get to this amazing off-roading is via Snowrunner. You videos are amazing.
your content is awesome dude, love it.
First time Braun has appeared in one of your videos without a cigarette in his mouth. Did Philip Morris drop their sponsorship? 🤪🤣
Open burning ban in effect in the province due to extreme fire hazard.
@@blueman5924 good opportunity to kick the smoking habit then 😂
The feeling you get when your diff hits a rock and you accidentally biting a stone is almost similar
With a whopping zero hours off off-road experience under my belt, I would have never assumed that Memorial Rock was that tough. It looks so harmless.
have you done any engine upgrades?
Awesome as usual!
What rear bumper set up for the spair tire and fuel cans are you using?
It's from Expedition One
@@TheStoryTillNow Thanks
Terrific adventure, are you ever gonna make it to Moab or Colorado with the Epic crew?!
Looks like the border is opening next month. We will be there soon.
I already can't wait for the next video

Usually June, but this year we went in June and it was still awful. The mosquitos are savages.
It's not called trail damage, it's called character
Great video. Are any of your Gladiators running catch cans?
He's always making John look bad in the 4runner 😭😭
I think he's looking pretty good really. He's killin it in that thing.
@@TheStoryTillNow agree especially since it looks close to stock...
one of the best vids yet!
What is that song called at the end youve been using? I dig it
WEARETHEGOOD - Young, Wild & Alive 👍
Thanks for clearing the way. We did the trail this week and didn’t see a soul
Heading there in 2 weeks. Was the trail still wet in some sections?
Damn those Gladiators are long
Epic video yet again man !
Love the content man keep it up
We need more Braun footage!
You guys better get Chef John a bit more dialed in or your gonna starve. 😅🤣
What tire is that XJ running?
I'm running 40" Maxxis Trepadors bias ply.

Always impressive videos 👍
Hi, it's been a while since i commented on your video..still fascinating as always..
Love the damage happening lol
That trail is has probably broke plenty of parts on plenty of vehicles.
No pain, no gain. Test your limits learn from it. Bang
How is this channel not at a million subs like I don’t get it
You forgot to add the score for the tree :-)
Gotta tighten down whatever's rattling on the TrailWrecker.
Ran 3.5 legs of the Washington backcountry discovery route this weekend, found plenty of ways to break my Jeep ;)
Chef John definitely need a real rear bumper for overlanding now, along with a sets of 35s he makes the 4 runner look so incaapable off-roader😜😜😄

I doubt it, but I did check and the lifetime like to dislike ratio for the channel is 98.3%. Pretty decent. 👍

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Lot of trees down it seems
Yay!
Cool vid, but how about a volume check? lol

been watching you since the beginning man, your videos are top notch quality every time
Those tail lights on the Gladiators are sure poorly designed.

If you saw the rock in person, you'd realize crawl control isn't climbing that. It's extremely vertical.
homeboy in the grey jk needs lockers
