Sardinia - North & South | Capo Testa | Santa Teresa | Palau | Maddalena | Alghero | Cagliari

In this video, I travel across the Italian Mediterranean island of Sardinia from north to south. I visit the Capo Testa peninsula, then continue to the picturesque town of Santa Teresa Gallura and from there to the port city of Palau.
Here, I take the ferry to the island archipelago of La Maddalena.
I show you the beaches Rena Majore and Spiaggia di Ampurias on the northern coast, then head to the west coast to the medieval city of Alghero, with its vibrant Catalan history.
From there, I travel through the inland of Sardinia to the south, arriving at the island’s capital, Cagliari. Here, I explore the mysterious structures of the millennia-old Nuragic culture and the Phoenician-Roman ruined city of Nora.
I then rent a boat to visit Mari Pintau, one of the most beautiful beaches near Cagliari. Finally, I visit the charming town of Villasimius at the southeastern tip of Sardinia, drive up the Costa Rei on the east coast, and enjoy one last swim in the turquoise waters that make Sardinia the Caribbean of the Mediterranean.
