I think what’s saddest about this is the image of Freddie fading. It’s like he actually did come down from heaven to sing with Brian but then he had to go again.
Every. Time. I've been using this song here and it plays on repeat on my Google play to fall asleep to when my brain can't slow down. I've seen Bohemian Rhapsody 4xs so far. I miss Freddie.
It must have been heartbreaking for the rest of the band when Freddie left us, I KNOW how I feel so I really can't imagine they spent all of their lives with him, RIP Freddie you are the love of my life

MARIA A. M. It’s a shame what happened, my uncle got me into Queen after showing me Who Wants To Live Forever, I’m now a guitarist in a band and I always make sure we have a few Queen songs in the setlist we play. When we play WWTLF, CLTCL or BR we always make sure that it’s the best we can do, and the last one we played my uncle was there, and the tears I saw in his eyes said it all. I’ve been a queen fan since I was small. I just saw the movie and I learned so much about the legend himself, Freddie. I would’ve loved to be born earlier to experience him. Watching this video (and the movie) made me cry so hard. After he figured out he had AIDS, he didn’t stop believing and kept singing until his final days.

It's obvious that, Brian May misses his bandmate, and best friend, Freddie Mercury. Paul McCartney feels the same about John Lennon, cos Freddie, and Brian were fans of The Beatles, in my humble opinion.

Brendan Keenan, Brian looked happy when he saw Freddie on stage, as a hologram, and I think that, he cried tears of joy, just for those few moments, to sing with his best friend, again. Brian is a caring, kind, and loving guy, in my humble opinion.
@it's all about the distraction, Freddie Mercury, and his dad, Bomi were Zoroastrian, and his mum, Jer, and sister, Kashmira were Parsi, in my humble opinion.
They were not just friends....... And they were not just band mates...... They were brothers and even when one brother parts they are still together no matter what ❤️❤️
I used to think that. If I hear May talk about those days nowadays, and see how they portrayed Freddie in that movie... I'm not sure if a friend would do that. This video is lovely though.
Freddie: Darling there's a crowd down in Birmingham with Brian playing God: Oh I see Freddie: It's been a while God: It has Freddie: I'll be right back
It must be hard, when you lose a long-time friend, but singing Freddie's, and Queen's songs, is THE ultimate tribute, to THE ultimate showman of music, but singing those songs, maybe Brian's coping mechanism, in my humble opinion.
@@xvoidgamer, Freddie Mercury's death still upsets Queen fans, he left behind a legacy that no-one will ever forget. He, and Queen stole Live Aid, in 1985, at Wembley Stadium. He had 72,000 fans, and the world, in the palm of his hands, that evening.
@@Erick-ke4vc, Brian was a true friend, he didn't betray him, unlike so-called friend, Paul Prenter. I have a lot of respect, for the surviving members, of Queen, Brian May, and Roger Taylor, for going on TV-AM, setting the record straight, telling the media their side of the story, defending Freddie Mercury, and raising awareness of the AIDS virus, that claimed the life of 1 of music's iconic figures, their Queen bandmate, Freddie Mercury. They kept Queen's music alive throughout the years, since Freddie Mercury's death. Also, John Deacon, as his basslines were awesome, before he retired in 1997, he was a man, who just kept saying things, that were right, and at the right time, too, in my humble opinion.
Michael Wilson I met Brian this year in Antwerp, he truely is genuine. I was shitting myself before he walked into the room. But once he came in, we introduced ourselfs and he made us feel at ease. We sat down, drank a couple of beers and chatted for about 30m then he thanked us. After the meeting ofc we enjoyed the show. His voice really makes you feel calm.. really calm.
When somebody only has to move an arm to get everybody to sing despite not really being there, you know he's probably the best frontman and performer to have ever been alive.
Everyone has their own opinion. I preferred the Paul Rodgers tours, I enjoyed his gravelly rock voice and the mix of his music. Wishing Well by PR & Queen was amazing.
Freddie Mercury, and Brian May respected each other's music, for instance, if Brian May was Paul McCartney, and Freddie Mercury was John Lennon, Brian May would say "He was my big brother", in my humble opinion.
@Brianmay.___ absolutely. I would have given much to see you all play. You have given me, us, much continuing music pleasure. Thank you so much. If ever in nor cal, I'll buy dinner..thanks again
Brian loved Freddie, as a friend, and as a musician, if only we could turn the clock back, and Freddie would say the funniest things, such as, "I haven't hit him, yet... "but, there's still time". Only Freddie could say that, and smile about something like that, in my humble opinion.
Grizzly Bear, Roger, and John are legends, and are just as vital, too. They put together an album, just shortly after Freddie's tragic, premature death, from AIDS, on 24th November, 1991. Then they organised The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, at Wembley Stadium, on 20th April, 1992, almost 5 months, after Freddie's tragic, premature death, and John retired, in 1997, that was before Adam Lambert took over as Queen's lead singer, in my humble opinion.
Just got back from watching Bohemian Rhapsody and now re-watching this has made me so emotional. Freddie died a couple of years before I was born, but I grew up surrounded by his music and invested in his life & his legacy. (Thank you Dad 🙏🏻) I obviously never had the privilege of experiencing his impact during his lifetime 😔. Thus, I never imagined I’d see the band live so that concert felt like a privilege. I could finally experience even an ounce of the joy their music with a crowd brought & perhaps best of all, the cheer as Freddie appears on screen. I’ve only been able to imagine through watching Freddie clips, so to experience the joy of the crowd when he appeared on the big screen was special. As for the film, it brings his story to life so beautifully, sensitively and emotionally. (Rami Malek does a fantastic job) This song’s origin is explored in the film, and they show a moment where a crowd sings it back to Freddie and he is just blown away. Much like Brian is here. Now as i watch this back, it’s as if I appreciate the song in a new light. I finally get it. How Freddie felt when he wrote it. And now the way Brian sings this ; mourning the loss of his friend. “Hurry back. Don’t take him away from me because you don’t know what he means to me!” 😭
He died on nov 24th 1991 and i was born on the 25th, exactly a day after his death..and living my life,i never had an idea who the hell is he,heard his name but that's it,know his song which played hundreds time during sports ceremony but i don't care..until i heard about this movie and start digging everything about this legend..and now I'm cried n full of regrets, why I'm so late..

Brian May is living legend..
@it's all about the distraction, Brian will ALWAYS be remembered with great fondness, like Freddie is, in my humble opinion.
Just got back from watching Bohemian Rhapsody and now re-watching this has made me so emotional. Freddie died a couple of years before I was born, but I grew up surrounded by his music and invested in his life & his legacy. (Thank you Dad 🙏🏻)
I obviously never had the privilege of experiencing his impact during his lifetime 😔.
(Rami Malek does a fantastic job)
This song’s origin is explored in the film, and they show a moment where a crowd sings it back to Freddie and he is just blown away.
