Many, many are dying alone. With each decade of the Divine Mercy I pray, I offer it for someone who is dying in a hospital or at home alone and I visualize walking down a hospital aisle and walking into each room with people with this virus and praying over them. Pray it while you're washing dishes, brushing your teeth, just doing anything. God is hearing your prayers for someone in need at that very moment. God bless them.

I heard that, for the 20 seconds it takes to wash your hands with soap, it's the same amount of time it takes to recite a Hail Mary - great idea!
Bearing in mind your post, on each occasion we wash our hands, we pray to Our Lady for those who are dying without the Sacraments or the comfort of people physically praying by their bedside or in Church and the front line medical staff, too. Peace and All Good.
This has been my thought for a few days now. Prayed a Rosary today for so many dying alone right now.
We need to start directing our prayers and rosaries to the dying as they have now due to this virus no one to give them their last rites

Michael Grella, there is a priest who asks us to spiritually adopt a person who is dying alone without the Sacraments and without family at the bedside. Especially through the Divine Mercy Chaplet, remembering that Jesus told St. Faustina that if she prayed the opening prayer: O Blood and Water which poured forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You - this would soften the heart of the dying person so that he would repent of his sins and be able to meet Jesus as the Merciful Savior. We beseech the Lord to grant the dying this grace by praying the Chaplet on his behalf. If a family prays the Chaplet together, each family member could spiritually adopt a different dying person, in the hopes of saving as many as we can.
Amen adopt a dying person who is not able to be accompanied and supported and comforted by their family and loved ones and priest at their time of need that must be so hard and frightening for them and so awful and difficult for their desperate family members i can't imagine the devestation and trauma i would have suffered if i had not been with my beloved mum when she passed away my comfort was rooted in the fact that i was able to accompany her both physically and spiritually during the last weeks and days of her earthly life x
So pray pray pray and adopt that dying person who is facing this alone pray pray Divine Mercy urgently and as often as you can also pray Holy rosary these are powerful prayers x
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Jesus, I trust in You.
I believe that we have been presenting ourselves to him in a half hearted manner when we receive the Eucharist. This is an opportunity for all of us to repent, strengthen our faith, and bring our best back to him when mass is available to us again! His mercy endures forever.🙏🏻

Teri, I like your comment. It is very true that for a long time many among us have been lukewarm, taking the precious mass and confession for granted. Now it is been taken away from us. Hi Bonni, could you please adopt my nephew Ross as your soul to pray for! He's on ventilator in ICU fighting for his life. He's 40 yrs old and a husband and father to a 7 yr old son. My biggest fear is him dying an unrepentant sinner. I don't think he has been to confession in years. I would greatly appreciate it! I'm praying Divine Mercy Chaplet for him and rosary! Did you ever think that if 70% of Catholics don’t believe in the real presence that many or most of congregations are receiving unworthily? When was the last time you heard a priest say from the pulpit the requirement to be in a state of grace. No wonder God shut down blasphemous masses.
I went to a Catholic Byzantine Mass a month ago, he preached that you can only come up to communion in a state of grace..

I remember a priest during his homily saying that you can receive the holy communion though you're in the state of mortal sin. I was furious and wanted to walk out. This is not what those nuns taught me during catechism lesson in elem and high schools. How many if those present to that mass never cathecise properly. That priest lead them astray

I am starting to believe that there is a connection between lack of faith in the Real Presence in the Eucharist and the lack of belief that COVID-19 is anything but a hoax.
When dying Jacinta saw people talking in church she asked the mother superior to tell them to stop. When they didn't listen she said "They know not what condemnation they bring on themselves" Pray about that for a while.

Do you mean at the service of mass, like during the homily? Otherwise, for example, I listened to a priest who gave a conference here on the end times. But he was only referring to Scripture.

Hundreds of people in and out under the same roof and magically nobody gets sick. The Virus™ must only attack Christian churches or something.
Well thank God Walmart and grocery stores are open! I went to Walmart on Wednesday and it wasn't crowded and you had to stay away from people at least 7ft. Checkout lines same way- big distance in line. They were well stocked. All employees are checked before their shift for any symptoms. Church is different- sharing communion and closeness.

My family's testimony of a miracle in times of Covid-19: The husband of my aunt got the Coronavirus and almost died last week. At the same time he got infected with some nasty bacteria. Thank God he made it and he is becoming healthier each day. The thing is the doctors said that they had never seen someone in such a bad condition survive and become healthy so fast. They also said that they learned alot about how to treat the coronavirus infected people thanks to what my aunt's husband had to go through. His recovery is a miracle and I know that all the prayers and the rosaries my family prayed helped. God works in mysterious ways and I'm sure that all of this that happened to him will ultimately bring him closer to God, unite more my family and help Doctors fight the disease. I think that our prayers should be more like: "May your kingdom come. May your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven".
Wouldn't be a bad idea to increase the rosary to a FULL rosary in a time like this when we're all forced to stay home and have no excuse. All four mysteries people. Let's get this going!

I am hungry to receive the Lord in the sacrifice of the Mass! I watch every weekend Mass on The Live Stream and I watch the daily Mass as much as I can! Pray for me and I will do the same for you!
I prayed about this removal of the Mass and the Sacraments, and it seems to be a penance for lukewarmness of the faithful. We have taken the Mass and the Sacraments for granted. Moreover, these orders given by the bishops can be another opportunity for holiness by complying humbly and obediently to their orders. Great Saints are made through obedience and piety.
For the past few days the meditations in The Divine Intimacy have been about humble obedience. Seems like we've been offered a tremendous chance to draw down graces for ourselves and others, including our priests and bishops by embracing these crosses imposed by those in authority. It seems like many people are squandering the opportunities presented. Really appreciate Doug's words today and your comment as well.

I've been trying to tell people that God is trying to get our attention, to repent, turn to Him, humble ourselves, and God will hear us and heal the land. Response I get: Scoffing, laughing, and not taking it seriously or at all. I will not yield. I will keep praying and repenting and witnessing. Priests deserve love and respect.

Last November a statue of the entity BAAL/Moloch was erected outside the colosseum in Rome, it was supposed to be removed yesterday, but because of CVirus it's going to be left there until after easter, no wonder italy has it so bad.

Pray the rosary to Mother Mary daily for intersession with Christ. She has such sway with the Lord. We must also start to tell people about God, again since so many have fallen away, it is time to do this too. To witness to others what our faith is, our story. Why this is a time to be good with a God.
Also...Pray to God, ask Jesus to forgive you with full contrition, given the inability to go to confession. You can still talk to the Lord. He hears you. Trust in Him. Now is the time to prepare for His coming. God is totally focused on our salvation as you said Doug, and not our physical illnesses. He will perform miracles but not just to heal physically, to win over a soul, or to gain a repentant humble soul back again.
I have given up all tv and radio, I only look on social media once a day so I can select what I look at. (Circumcise your ears!) I also pray many hours a day. I repent DAILY TO JESUS. I can’t do this at my parish this frequently but it is so important. You learn to not sin as much this way. God bless you all! This is a tough situation. Also, Pray for our shepherds.

Looking back, I'm so glad there's an SSPX chapel about 1 1/2 hr drive from our house, and you'd better believe it we went to Sunday Mass. It was held outside the chapel in the parking lot and everyone stayed in their respective cars and we listened via our phone. We got out one by one, one car at a time to receive Our Lord.

By praying to our heavenly FATHER in the name of Jesus; at every moment, for world kind and our Catholic church to stay strong. Do on to others, what you don't want to be done on to you.
