Mannie seems like a real humble dude . i like the fact he keeps it simple and plain while makes music to this day going back to his original machines and keeping them hard at work .... good work all these years keep it up Mannie ...
I always liked mannie’s style of producing. It’s hard to describe but one element I like about them is a lot of them have a very bright, upbeat sound to them if that makes any sense. An example of this is B.G.’s “get in line.”
This for tha chickens cats roaches and crackhead mosquitoes would be right if I didn't say this because this was a Mannie fresh exclusive keep up tha good work Elvis freshly
+mikeworld39 I wanna say he made 2 back to back mistakes there. Like he meant to say late Magnolia Shorty. She's dead. RIP. She was the queen of bounce before there was a Big Freeda lol. Ms. Tee was/is not bounce. And Magnolia Slim aka Soulja Slim was never signed to Cash Money. He discussed that before when he was still alive. Soulja Slim featured on 1 U.N.L.V. song and that's it ever. They had another rapper named Lil Slim. He was bounce. I think after he slipped up, he just ran with it.
Fannie needs to listen to Jill Scott. She can sing her ass off, and has different ranges, and does her own background. Jill scott is a BEAST vocally. Nobody can touch her level right NOW!!!
Producing from a computer software has made producing a lot easier because you can make a beat much faster than compared to making a beat from a keyboard and drum 🥁 machine. I can do both just like you.
to me, mannie fresh was always more humble then birdman, its actually why i like mannie more
Birdman and humble dont see eye to eye

I am SO glad he reveres Kurtis Mantronik, the King of the Beats, and pays homage! Peace.

Great interview. Juvenile's Follow Me Now is an undeniable interpolation of Santana's Oye Como Va btw.
Freshly Snipes!!!!!
Mannie fresh deserves his props as a legend!
Mannie helped me out when I used to flyer in the H. I'll won't forget that.
Mannie Davis, Jr - Hahaaaaaaa! I'm dead, yo.
You and klc are the pioneers that produce n.o. hip hop.
New Yasiin Bey/Mannie Fresh at 36:30 !!!!! OMFGOD!!!!
Mannie is deep!! He's good at what he does.
Fresh had Mos Def sounding like a cross between himself, Juvenile and Lil Wayne.
Great interview most definitely looking forward to see him work with kevin gates. I would love to see him in friend as well

@22:55 Hillarious!
Great interview questions, just too damn monotone
Their mic game is ridiculous , can hear people in the back of the crowd coughing and shit in the headphones

I'm not slow I am just not living in fear like you sorry
I have over 500 instrumentals that are original... you have only heard a small sample from me.
I am a pot of gombo on the beats
"oowm"
I'm not a beat jacker this is all me
It is becasue the average listener is not consciouss enough to grab any materail truth......
what about yasiin bey in tiny desk?
There is like an identity crisis going on up there.. not from Mannie but the two interviewers.
