Can you please make a video on “MBA in Netherlands”. I am suggesting this due to the following reasons:
1) majority english speaking compared to rest of EU
2) comparatively less tution fee compared to the us
It would be nice if you gave us a broader perspective considering the cons too!!
Thanks.
Unfortunately, the Netherlands does not have many bschools that rank globally. RSM is the only one in the FT Global 100. We interviewed their admissions director many years back and there would be quite a few changes since then: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2013/05/28/rsm-mba-rotterdam-interview-with-admissions-director/

Canada is a good option too. We have a separate video on that.
2021 but it's crisp!
Sir pls answer to my question,
Do I need to have a minimum work experience before applying for the program in a business school in germany
Yes, all good MBA programs abroad will expect work experience of a few years.
Plz make a video on diploma in education in Germany....
And jobs chances in teaching...
And what are its expected average salary....
If you want to become a teacher at a german elementary/middle/highschool, you need to speak german without any language barrier.
In the next couple of years, we will need many teachers in Germany and the salary is quite good; depends on which school-form you are teaching at (elementary-school-teacher get paid less then highschool-teachers; average is 2500-5000€;
another point, which defines your salary is: If you have got a contract with the school, or if you've got a contract with the gouvernment; if you got a contract with the school you get paid less and you are able to loose your job if they don't offer you a new contract after the summerholidays for the next schoolyear; instead, if you got a contract with the gouvernment (which is realy rare these days!), they pay you a fix salary, they care about your insurance, and you can't loose your job (but on the other hand side you can't quit your job, the gouvernment tells you where you have to move within the country, your salary won't increase fast (as it could if you would work on a contract basis with a school) and last but not least you are not anymore part of the system of free-economics, once signed you work your whole life for the state --> gouvernment contract: less risk (more safety for family and life, better salary) less freedom.)
What you have to do to become a teacher in Germany: If you want to teach at a elementary/middle school, you can attend a course of study in padagogik at the "university of pedagogics and applied sciences in education (Heidelberg)" or if you want to have the chance to teach at any school-form, you need to attend a special subject course of study (example mathematics and physics for education; or if you want to teach at a specialist school, example: a highschool of business education; you need to study business & economics pedagogics ("Wirtschaftspädagogik" at the university of Mannheim/Frankfurt/Munich etc. for example)), you have to study 6 years and finsih with the "german stateexam" or a masters-degree (every examination in german, of course), after you've finished the course of study, you teach for 1-2 year(s) under supervision, "referendariat" we call this, before you teach a schoolclass on your own.
--> to become a teacher is hard work, and takes much afford! but once you've finished after 6-8 years all in all, it will pay your bills a whole life (but you won't get rich!)
Checkout: "Lehramtstudium in Deutschland"
Courses of study: Deutsch-, Englisch-, Mathematik-, Physik-, Biologie-, auf Lehramt studieren.
Important: You need to study 2 subjects!!! the reason why mathematic teachers are often physic teachers too and english teachers often are german teachers.
And there is another way to become a teacher: Study any subject "normaly" (example mathematics and physics), both in a master of scince course, attend a few month pedagogics course and you are ready to teach.
--> a master of scince in a special subject is valued higher then a course in education.
The best you can do is: become the best in 1 or 2 fields of study, become a doctor in it (--> phd.) and start teaching afterwards you've got the highest education in a subject you probably can, they will let you teach at a school you want.
(because the problem we got faced in GER is: the medium/worse highschool students are most of the time, attendinh education courses at the university, because studying a subject related to education is easier then to study the subject itself in a Master of Science--> they just have 50% of the top knowledge and these 50% start teaching children --> when these children dropout, they start already with just 50% that's the reason, why our education in Germany gets worse...
(and not many of the best in a subject with a phd. want to become teachers, because in the free-economics they get paid 300% better then as a teacher).
--> become the best in what you do, give courses at the university to teach adults new things--> learn how to teach and after you've finisehd with a phd. and worked a few years in the free economic, try to become a teacher and they will welcome you with open arms!
Kind regards from GER
Sir, I'm a CA FINAL student, want to do MBA after CA, is it mandatory of GMAT score to join MBA in Germany??
For all good MBA programs, yes it is. And so is work experience.
Hi..bro..have u joined any MBA program?
Would appreciate your support. I have completed my Masters in Germany in the year 2020, December and had to come back to India due to some personal issues. In the month of Jan I have worked as a Trainee in XYZ and now working in XYZ company as a permanent employee.
After all the work and with an almost 2 year work experience I have, I got to know myself better and realised that I am a peoples person better in managing and leading. I like meeting up new people, interacting . I am confident enough to speak up in a crowd and present confidently and I felt such sort of work appeals me. So I am really in a dilemma is it the right to pursue my MBA and I only want to get into top Bussiness schools in Germany.
Thank you
It'll be too early to consider another degree, since you've completed the masters degree less than 2 years back. It would be better to work for a few year to utilise the current masters before considering an MBA.

We have a separate video on MiM that you can check out. We've listed several good programs in it. With German programs, be aware that you'll need to speak German for you to be competitive for any local jobs in Germany.
It sounds good to get your MBA in Germany, the problem is to revalidate your MBA in the us is tough it takes time and you still run the risk of being told that the study plan from a German MBA does match an american MBA so your MBA will be worthless in the us.
For someone who wants to work in the US, going for an American MBA is a better choice.
can we study MBA in germany with the help of GMAT and how to join in a college without MBA
Sorry, but your question isn't clear. What do you mean by college without MBA?
Hi
Which is the number 1 and most esteemed piblic business school in Getmany that offers free of cost MBA?
I am from New York
None of the free MBA programs make it to the reputed MBA rankings. So we're not aware of that list.
What difference there r b/w part & full time mba.. btw I'm matric student & preparing myself to do mba abroad kindly inform me..
For part-time MBA, you can retain your job and income while studying, The flip side is that such degrees have low credibility.
sir in the starting your statement was there is no tution fee in germany but then you are showing that much fees . please clear this
Only some public universities are free. The top ranking ones we've listed are not.
What’s the average cost in Indian rupees and scholarship and finance options please discuss about it also and also the criteria to get in
Sir in the last minute of the video, you have tabulated the universities vs their tuition fees. But as told before, the tuition fees is free, so what is the date in that table about? And, thanks a lot for making such useful and beneficial videos for us.
Hi Ambuj, good question. As mentioned in the video, many public universities offer free tuition, but not all. The ones we've listed are the top ranking MBA programs in Germany ones where competition is also higher than free universities. So, they aren't free. But they aren't as expensive as American universities either which makes them quite attractive for cost-conscious students. And thanks for the kind words!

I did BSC natural sciences BSC mpc 3 years bachelor's I want to pursue MBA Germany without work experience is it possible to get admit.
Possible, but you'd be forced to choose from mediocre programs that don't have a rigorous entry process.
Due to ongoing covid situation we undergraduates are unable to get jobs or internships so what to do in the case if we are planning to do MBA in Germany (without any work experience)!
If it's difficult to get jobs in India, it gets many times more difficult to get a job in another country. More so when the recruiter very little incentive to hire someone with no experience from another country, over one from the same country. So be careful before you jump into another degree.
is the work experience required mandatory for ESMT or freshers can also apply?

Work for a few years after graduation and then re-think the need for an international degree.
I even searched about a college named Technical University of Munich, which requires no work experience. However it's not too much known for mba. I would like to know your thoughts.
We're not aware of that university, since it isn't considered a top bschool for MBA.
Good morning sir,
I am an Indian student aiming Germany for my MBA program.
I have a few questions.
1.What is the minimum language requirement for an English taught MBA program in Germany ?
2. Low Class 12th marks affect your application irrespective of high grades in graduation and 700+score in GMAT?
3. Are there any programs which give admission without Work experience like 2+2 program in harvard university and YLP of ISB, hyderabad?
I hope you will answer my question and clear my doubts.
Thankyou
Regards
Hi Himanshu, responses below:
1. Scoring above 100 in TOEFL should be good.
2. 12th marks aren't relevant.
3. There may be plenty of MBA programs in Germany that skip the work experience requirement, but we'd urge you to exercise caution with them. There's a reason why all the good MBA prorgams across the world insist on several years of experience. Be patient and build your profile before considering an international degree.
@@MBACrystalBall currently i am pursuing my bachelor's in journalism from delhi university. Will doing a job in this sector make my job experience irrelevant? Or do i have to do a job in marketing field in news agencies?
In the earlier years, it won't matter. But as you grow, it'll be helpful if you can take on more responsibilities on the business side. That'll show your potential and inclination for a business degree.
One last query
What is the right time to give gmat for YLP in ISB? And an advice to improve one's profile?
What should i do in my last year of graduation to get an admit from ylp with a 720+ gmat score.

Hi, I am planning to send my son post graduation to Germany for MBA. Now you have shown some tuition fees. However I guess the tuition fees are zero in germany. Pls correct me.
As mentioned in the video, the fees are zero only in some public universities. What we've listed in this video are the top MBA programs. They are not free.

As we've mentioned in the video, some public universities offer tuition free education. The top ranking programs that most candidates target (and listed in the video) are not free.
Sir almost everyone say study in Germany is very cheap and almost free but in the video I can see almost average tuition fee is around $50k... isn't it too expensive?..please reply
Only public universities offer free degrees. The top ranking MBA programs are expensive and highly competitive to get into.
Please make same video having salary, job market on MBA/MSc from reputable German Public Universities.
We don't get requests to help with the applications for free public university programs, so we don't know much about them.
Thank you for valuable information, one ques is it possible to get admission without GMAT / Language exam. Please rly😇
Many low ranking programs may skip the GMAT requirement.
Hi, does it possible to work during MBA programs? If so, how much we get earn in average and will it be enough to pay our school and living expenses? Also how hard will it be to find a job as a student?
Some longer duration programs (in USA) offer the opportunity to work for 20 hrs per week. The income is not much, but enough to pay for some living expenses. But for rigorous, top-ranking programs it is very difficult to take on any work outside academics.
I have work experience of 1.5 years in safety & currently working in nigeria as petroleum engineer since march 2023. Am I eligible for mba in germany ?
You're getting good / international experience. If you have the patience to wait for a couple of years, you'd be a stronger applicant to many top programs (not just in Germany).
Hey in many universities I have seen the exam requirements is just IELTS, TOEFL and PTE and 2 to 3 years of work experience so do we don't need to give GMAT for such universities????
If the official site says they don't require additional scores, then that's how it works for them.
@@MBACrystalBall okay and many known universities like la Trobe University then university of Birmingham don't require GMAT and they are known universities too...so I ask u about this

Hi Sameer
I have no experience with German language. How difficult it will be for me to get a job in Germany after MBA? Do you know cases in which students managed to learn the language during the course itself?

Hi
Thanks for the guidance.
Please help me with this questions :-
What are the chances of getting into university of mannheim,Frankfurt, ESMT with gmat score of 640.
(Am having 4 years of work experience. The main issue is having 6 backlogs in engineering , will this allow me to get into good bschool in Germany?)
If not Germany what other countries will be okay with this backlog ?
I want to do MBA in IB if backlogs are being a barrier should I go for MIB from Ireland what are the job opportunities there ?
As I have heard people are coming back from Ireland because it only offer jobs to technical person.
There are no specific countries for candidates with backlogs. As a general rule, the top schools will have a lower threshold for such factors, as they get a large number of strong applicants vying for a small number of places. The lower you go in the MBA rankings, the more flexible schools get, in terms of overlooking certain profile flaws. A high GMAT score, good performance in external courses, strong professional experience and impressive accomplishments can be helpful in convincing Adcoms that you're ready to get back into the class. And more importantly, you'll not face the same challenges that you did during undergrad. Job opportunities would be a completely different story. Your pre-masters experience, networking skills, fit with the new role would all matter.
Hello sir my name is keenzal chauhan,

Some companies may visit campus for networking purposes, but most of the recruitment happens off-campus. It's the students responsibility to approach the right companies.
Though the video was a snippet of vast research that needs to be done just like ,Post mba salary seems good , but it might be accessible to just a marginal international students i suppose. It's really important to study about the stay to left & emp to unemp ratios.
Good points. Not everyone who studies in another country will get a job. Not everyone will have a good experience in the class either. A short video can only touch upon a few points and act as the starting point. It's up to the candidate to dig further into their areas of interest and concerns.

See if this helps: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2016/01/11/top-mba-colleges-with-low-fees/
@@MBACrystalBall thank you so much
Can u name some government colleges for MBA ..thank u in advance
Our focus is on the selective, top ranking colleges. So we're not aware of the other options.
First you told free education but in ending you said mva in Germany costs?
As we explain in the video, several public universities offer free education. However, the top ranking programs in Germany aren't free.
Very helpful Video thanks ❤❤❤
Sir I am doing BBA frm India which is of 3 yrs..planning to do Mba in germany... whether i should do ielts or gmat??
IELTS is not an alternative for GMAT. In most good programs, you'll need both. Check the official sites to confirm.
for hospitality is good in germany which one i have to take for higher studied
Germany or canada which is better for an MBA
Depends on your personal priorities. Canada has more opportunities for English speaking MBA graduates. If you don't speak German, then the choice is less confusing.
How can i build my profile for MBA while doing a bachelor degree? I need a suggestion and tips
We've shared several tips here: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2019/02/11/improve-profile-in-college-how-to/
I want to know how can I get a job after my ba for work experience part if I wish to study in Germany.
Is there any way possible to get job or Full time internships in German itself... After my BA?
I also wanna know what should I be prepared with to get that.... Like everything.
I am really confused... As Google doesn't provide every answer. And I really need guidance.
Please let me know.
You can apply to companies that you like that offer jobs you're interested in. It is difficult to get that experience abroad when you have no prior experience.
@@MBACrystalBall By now I have done internships and one part time job. I have 2 years more... I guess I can do more. So will that work in any way?
Is any particular work experience required? Or I can do any kind of work?.... Any work is considered as work experience... Right? Or any particular field that you can suggest me to try? I can do part times and internships in that
Most bschools would expect full time work experience. More on the type of experience needed in this article: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2017/06/28/what-type-work-experience-required-mba-abroad/
No, actually I am not asking that. I am asking I have done few Internships nd a part time job. I can do more as I have time. So on the basis of these things can I get a full time job in Germany, after I complete my graduation?.... So that i work for a while then study in Germany or maybe some other countries wherever I wish too....
Is that much experience enough to get a full time job in country outside India after completing my bachelor's degree in English honours?
Sir as you have said in the video that an MBA degree in government
universities is free of cost then again why are you giving the fee
details of the programmes from
each university.
As mentioned in the video, several (not all) public universities offer tuition free courses. However they don't figure in the top ranking programs. We've listed only the top ones and all of them charge a fee. Hope that clarifies.
@@MBACrystalBall thank you.
Sir, I am bhargav varma from India. I am currently working as hr generalist. I want to do mba in Germany. Can I pursue my mba course for free in Germany
You may find several universities that offer free MBA in Germany, but be aware that these are not top-ranking ones (like those we've listed in this video). So their market value may not be the same.
Which exam I would have to give? Gmat?
GMAT is still the most popular for MBA programs.
Do we need work experience for doing MBA in Mannheim business school? Pls revert
All good MBA programs will expect work experience.
Why is Munich more expensive?
Hello sir, can we get into colleges in Germany without work experiences?
Many German colleges may accept MBA students without experience, but be careful before joining. Make sure you do your research on their market value.
I am a student of 12th sci n wanna do MBA in marketing is it possible to do it after 12th itself n how can I do it also I have dropped maths subject will it create a difficulty in my way towards MBA?
You'll need to be a graduate to consider any masters level degree such as the MBA.
@@MBACrystalBall will it be ok to do bmm n after that mba instead of doing plan graduation will it be helpful?
@@sanjitajagadale1824 yes, many do just that, if they aren't getting a good job with just a plain degree.
SIR can we get BBA admission or any other business related course in these universities
We don't focus on undergrad programs, so we won't be the right team to help with that query.
Sir, I want to study MBA after CA. I study CA in my own country ( india) but want to study MBA in Germany. Is MBA successful in Germany. Is it free
Sure, you can apply to German MBA programs. But as mentioned in the video, these are not free. Only some courses offered by public universities are free.

Yes, all good bschools offer scholarships to a select few scholarships. American MBA programs tend to have a larger scholarship kitty compared to German programs.
