Sir would a slight detour make sense ? If I wanted to apply to an B school but wanted to get some international exposure first. Would it help to get an Intermediate degree at a relatively low cost college or a free college if the degree was on a peripheral subject like psychology or Human Resources ?
I say peripheral and not unrelated because this degree would still be a good add-on to my practice...so if I was considering a pit stop ..would that make sense from a career standpoint ?
Greetings Sameer! Wonderful explanation, I'm glad I chose an MS rather than an MBA immediately after my graduation a month ago. I aim for MS in Business Analytics in Australia as a highly preferred option, could you please help me out with the idea of choosing an appropriate University with a beneficial Scholarship programme?

Hey Guyz.. I'm in my last year of college and aim to do MBA abroad in next 4-5 years. Since my college isn't IIT, NIT or any other top colleges can you guys give me some tips (apart from general career tips) that can help me improve my profile and get into a top mba few years down the line?
We have shared several tips on what you can do in college to build your profile: www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/2019/02/11/improve-profile-in-college-how-to/ But if you're already in the last year, the options shrink. Your best bet now would be to get into the industry and company that you like, work there for a few years and try to strengthen your professional profile. We have a separate video on how that can be done.
Many good universities offer the option of fully-funded PhD programs. It's not practical to create a list of those. So you'll have to check based on the specialisation you're aiming for, since the list will vary depending on which professor (and your potential PhD mentor) is doing research in that area.
I have scored 750 in GMAT and my 10 th percentage is 85 , 12 percentage is 88 and my graduation is 60 I want to do my MBA in abroad for free becoz I am from poor financial background how to study abroad for free can you guide me
Hi Sameer. I’m a CA with 3 year articleship experience and 1 year post qualification experience. I’m confused between doing MBA or MIM abroad. Since MBA had better network and legacy as compared against MIM. My aim is to work in the Management consulting side. Do advise. Thank you
If you have the patience, an MBA will give you a bigger back for your buck. Most top consulting firms recruit from good MBA programs. We have a separate video on how to get into consulting firms. Check it out.
Hi Sameer I have one question, my academic and graduation marks are not good, What Should I do How Can I improve my profile for top Business school, Where should I focus more now? Please tell me @sameer Kamat

Hello sir I have recently finished my Masters in Business Studies from Nepal and I want to persue my Phd in USA. I don't have idea to choose between GRE or GMAT for schlorship but I want to do GRE as it can be easier compared to GMAT .Please suggest me the best one .
Some programs, such as the MBA, are now open to both GMAT and GRE scores. However, specialised ones (such as PhD) may still have their preferences. So it's best to check out the official websites of your target universities to see what they accept. For those who accept both, you can take either without worrying about whether one is better than the other. What PhD specialisation are you aiming for?
Hi, I've just seen your RUclips videos regarding MIM(Master of Management) course. I would to know like what subject we have in the course including practical subjects too.
Check out our video on MBA syllabus. They subjects we've listed in it are the fundamental building blocks of business, so most of them are covered in MiM too.

We don't recommend that approach. All the good MBA programs in Canada, and across the world, will expect work experience. A few might offer test score waivers. But better to be patient and build your profile first. That way your investment in higher education would be better utilised.

Hello MBA Crystal Ball, could you please share a video on Project management specialisation in the MBA and it's scope in the upcoming years ? And also, the relevant certifications of PM in different countries?
If you're only looking for a certification in project management, check out the PMP certification offered by PMI. It's more cost effective than a regular MBA.
The first minute was about showing dreams the last about reality check. PS. The audio quality for this video wasn't the best, meaning there were some background disturbances.
Dreams and reality checks are both important to be able to decide whether to move ahead or not, isn't it? We got a new (highly sensitive) mic that captures more sounds than we'd like - including impatient honking cars, loud autos and excited (for no reason) crows. We've left them in there as too much noise reduction causes the main voice to sound robotic.
Would you prefer a free, unranked program over a reputed, reasonably-priced program?
Reputed , Reasonably priced program

If I have a specialisation from Harvard business school online, will the certificate help me in getting into T10?
Quite unlikely, if it does not have the rigour of a credible certification and anyone can get it without breaking a sweat.
