I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. Also, most people are pretty much comfortable enough to be naked around someone and have sex with someone that they have no romantic feelings towards. So sex isn't really a thing about romance. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.

I met both 3 years ago and I think they were still new in their relationship but they both were very humble, so down to earth and friendly. Thomas especially no one really knew him and I told him I like his British tv show work (I watch lot of British TV shows so i recognized him from other things) He worked on Descendants also with Dove. But anyways, glad to see them both together. I also got to meet Dove when she was engaged to Ryan her ex...also another great guy. I am not sure what happened with both of them. But they seemed very happy and she came to visit him in Toronto when Ryan was filming here for the Rocky horror picture show musical reboot.
I personally will always and I mean ALWAYS ship them together even after I know they're broken up. I just think that what they had was beyond beautiful and maybe someday they can see each other like lovers again but until then I respect their decision and choices💖

that clip of thomas talking about her and dove getting teary eyed over it ... wow. she's finally got someone who talks great about her genuinely, he's not shit talking her or putting her down behind her back like her ex did, he genuinely loves her for HER and isn't afraid to tell everyone about it, whether it gets back to dove or not. they're so good together i'm so happy for her and both of them, i'm so glad she's really finding herself and has the space to be herself with someone who really loves her for it. UGH. they're so sweet.
