I read/listen to this series pretty much on repeat and fully agree, the story starts at The Shadow Rising. Stoked to see so much from the book on screen while fully realizing that some changes have to be made. The bubble of evil looks so good!!!!

This will be the season that Perrin definitely gets “locked in”! His journey in this part of the story made him one of my favorite characters in the books. 😉👍🏻
You should read Book 3 The Dragon Reborn with Jenny! Season 3 is going to cover 95% Book 4 The Shadow Rising. They mostly skipped over Book 3 or incorporated parts of it in Season 2 so you won't be spoiling anything. Can't wait to see your reaction to Season 3 because it's going to slay!
Book 4 is when WOT goes beyond Tolkien and general fantasy tropes and comes into its own. But yes, Book 2 is in my top 5 too EXCEPT for Lanfear. (Sorry, Innkeeper)
