The reason the girl in the video got lucky and only had to pay $50 drop fee, was because this was a Paving job going on and the manager did not want to tow the cars in the first place, The guys who were working were also waiting on me to clear the remaining cars so they could finish the work in the designated area for this particular day. This has been common while doing paving work, as many properties will just pay us to move the cars around the property. Taking the $50 drop fee also took pressure off the manager, who was having additional residents coming in the office pissed off about their cars. Managers don't like the drama at the office. Yes, she was in the wrong for parking in an area that has been cautioned off for no parking. But most apartment complexes have just enough parking for their tenets and very little for even visitors. So when the apartment complex ropes off a series of parking spots, odds are there is nowhere for the tenets to park.

They did that in the apartment building I live, they put notifications on every door in my building 1 week before they were going to re-stripe the lot and 5 cars got towed

I worry that when you're hosting a vehicle that's locked, and no ignition key to unlock shifter in neutral - the cable can and will eventually break. Snapped cable cuts like a razor when it goes in any direction it wants to. I worked on cranes, and when a crane is lifting a load- I stand very far away from the crane. I've seen many wire cables snap like broken rubber bands, and have seen one guy get cut in half. Broken cables don't discriminate on who they hurt. Same as shingles don't care either.
Seriously thought the guy was going to cause trouble, but he was calm and just accepted what was happening. Kind of wish your boss wouldn't have budged on the drop fee, but it may have saved that guy from an even bigger headache from his girl later on.

Do you know that it costs almost the entire drop fee of one hundred bux just to get the truck rolling and to that place? If every company did this then things would just cost more and there would be lines everywhere because people have to haggle they just can't pay a fair price.

Sometimes his atteibutes are tested and he'll lose his temper, but he generally keeps a cool head. I don't know how he does it. I can be professional until someone gets in my face, and then any kindness goes out the window. I'd be out of there in a second, with no remorse. Tears a d a sob story don't move me. The people had an opportunity to correct the problem with property management, but they couldn't be bothered.

With that being said, we have no idea what was happening in her life that day that might have amplified her response to what was going on. And maybe nothing unusual was going on. Point is, we don’t know. And there’s not one person that can say that at one point in our lives, that we haven’t overreacted in a situation and talked to someone in a disrespectful way..
