I would make sure to have that exhaust pipe goes over the rear axel and exit that you have it exit out behind that rear wheel... I bought a used truck with the same exhaust set up that you have and all my stuff rusted due to heat / condensation build up under the truck bed. It really attacks the frame and truck bed.
Thank you for your advice, that is very true and something to consider like I mentioned in other videos this is an old truck and I dont mind too much especially including I live in texas so it's mostly hot all the time, but I I totally agree as well as something to consider is the carbon monoxide can travel into the cab if you idle for a long time, so definitely take these things into consideration when doing your own work, thank you again for watching
@@fabricobblegarage2828 ok thanks. I've been running open headers on my Dakota for the past month and now I need to pass E-Check so I'm looking for another option. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.
No problem and thank you for watching, yeah that would be a good idea and i would be mindful about running it with no exhaust for a long period of time because you can have issues with your valves long term if you don't have enough back pressure, if you have no cays I would run the exhaust the length of the truck just incase
I got the 02 dodge Dakota V6, so I’m assuming it has similar sizes for exhaust. What’s the diameter for the inlet/outlet? And what length do you recommend?
The od is 2 1/2 it should be the same, i used the small cherry bomb and turn down but you could do whatever you want you can conect it to the stock exit and replace the stock muffler, or you could make a stack lol, the sky is the limit
I understand where you are coming from and appreciate that you watched and I should not that you could do this on a v8 as well but my truck is a v6, and all I'm saying is it sounds nothing like a rice burner and besides it my property and I do as I want
I love this sound. I have dakota v8. What shoud I buy? I want to get same sound. just red one?
Thank you for watching, Yes, really any glass pack will do

i have a 2000 3.9L magnum and it sounds very aggressive like its a bigger motor.
Mucho informaciono appreciado el illegal imigrandinado mucho gusto
You can always tell a v6 from a v8. Even with modified exhaust, v6 just doesn’t have the balls

@@fabricobblegarage2828 Not saying you can’t do what you want with your truck. Just saying it doesn’t sound the same
