"This is a hell of a way to run a desert." That's gold right there. Gold!

If you're going to pray for water, dig a ditch for it to go to.

I'm from Springville and I was 4 years old when this happened, I don't remember seeing Thistle but I was going to Fish Lake with my uncle and I think it was in Gunnison that a reservoir was so full it was leaking out on to the highway, I remember opening the car door and the water was almost coming inside the little car.

Over 60 FEET of snow in many areas this year 2022-23. It'll be interesting to see what happens this spring/summer.

@@DC-nw3uc that is pretty worrisome! All of next week appears that we could have some snow melting very quickly.

Don’t forget the lake froze that winter because of all of the fresh water. I remember that year very well. Driving over the new road while they were still working on it and it was all dirt. Never forget it.

My father Jim Ozment was Denver and Rio Grande Railroad division engineer and point man on that reconstruction of the railroad. What a year that was. I have many photos and documents.

Craig Wirth was always an awesome addition to the news. He gave great commencement address at my graduation in 1981.
