I think people don't realise how big & important DMX was when he burst on the scene.
His timing was perfect outside of his control. 2pac & Big recently died and DMX filled a needed void. His albums 1 after other went straight number 1's. Plus he's about as real as u get. Westcoast rap fans like me loved DMX even when not really being east coast fans. DMX just seemed like a Westcoast rapoer from the East coast. Raw Talent !!!
