As a kid of a retired locomotive engineer who ran up and down these tracks many years from Cincinnati to Southern KY, I love and appreciate this video.
Very nicely done; you make a compelling case for leaving the ownership arrangement as is. One minor correction: the last map of the region at 15:16 shows Birmingham in Mississippi and Atlanta in Alabama.
Hi World Cinema, kind of a rush job. Will fix the map, adjust the music bed, and finish it based on the results of Tuesday's election. Thank you! cheers
It was a rush job, posting just before the election last fall. Sadly, the railway was sold. Full version, The Heist of the Cincinnati Southern Railway should be ready soon...
Great story about a great piece of engineering. Thanks for sharing the story.

This video explained so much for me regarding the Cincinnati Southern Railway. Thanks for the informative presentation. Great job!
Thanks Dianne, thrilled to put it out there...

Thanks Gus. Kind of a rush job. We'll fix that and a few other things once we get past Tuesdays' Election....
Enjoyed the history portion, thanks! At 15:21, edit the map to move Atlanta from AL to GA and Birmingham from MS to AL.

Don’t sell your railroad. It’s a gift that keeps giving.
Sadly the voters of Cincinnati voted to sell it last week. Norfolk Southern paid about $143 dollars for each yes vote. Just not right...
The music is a bit loud and distracting but otherwise a fantastic video

Vote NO to not sell the railroad
Not a citizen of Ohio, but couldn't agree more!
Learn how to produce a piece that isnt so annoying.
New version coming. That was a rush job to get it out before last November's election. The final won't be so annoying... :)
