    Good Evening,
pardon me I have a query.
    1 - be a member of a generation.
    2 - belong to a generation.
May I ask which phrase is more correct and go together?

Hello, you could use either. For example, “He is a member of Gen X” or “She belongs to Gen Z.” Hope that helps!
