Hi Dave, an interesting thought (well for me anyway) - Quite a few years ago now, I used to receive occasional letters through the post inviting me to subscribe to various "systems" whether it be horse racing , lottery number picks and stocks and shares with a view to making money. These systems came from a guy called Peter who lived in Kent (little bell goes off in my mind) who said on horse racing he used a system perfected by his father=in=law many years ago which was successful and that he and his wife had tweaked a little to make it even more so . I think I bought a couple of systems (racing and lottery) which turned out to be rubbish. I can' remember the couple's surname but a certain person who features on here certainly rings that little bell again - I could be wrong. it was some time ago but I wonder ?
I dont think he will be the guy you are talking about Ian, unless that is things were in his wife's name as I've just checked Peter's details and he has only had his current Co these last 17 or so yrs
Peter fillingham is 1/10 since he mentioned he was going paid so £180 lost and say if you added the £85 fee for the group that would be £265 down in the past 4 days, it’s not good.
Haydock would probably be my most local racecourse but it has not been cheap for a long long time. When they first opened the Premier Suite, I think it was £40 - I could be wrong ? - and I'm told it's now £75. Don't get me wrong, I do like it in there, a lot more room and always a good day out but I'd never be too happy starting the day £75 behind if that price is right. Enough of my moaning Dave, all prices are going up everywhere, I guess the most important thing is that you all had a good day.
Not my favorite jockey as I think I mentioned the other day, over his attitude. However I have mixed feelings on this ride, was it possible a few horses got upset coming out to the parade ring and the returning when the weather got nasty, maybe the horse was a 2yr old wonder, maybe Ryan was "not on it" as the saying goes and would ride different next time. However just as Frankie got a kick up the aris from John Gosden I feel now and again that Ryan could do with one. I have a feeling Aiden has endured a slow start and the big guns will click soon.
Oh they WILL click Nicky they always do, even if O Brien ended up having a poor season by his standards it would still be viewed as a cracking season for anyone else. I would bet come Royal Ascot he again will be champion trainer at the meeting

We did but you are spot on it is much too dear they should really cut their prices to drive more customers to the courses
I don't know about most UK tracks but here in Ireland its €15 just to be on the premises, even at the gaffe tracks. Not interested.
I think its more on most tracks here Kenneth
