Solaris probably has a PE Loader within the Bootloader that is 512 bytes. The 512 MBR loads the bigger kernel and that bigger kernel is 1MiB at most, So Solaris has a NovaLDR within the MZ signature.

The GDI corruption is made by spamming data patterns into the VRAM/Window manager? 2. Is the "melodic" part resampling the last half second of the windows XP Startup? As PCM files require so little cpu power to be played back, is that done that way? 3. How many bytes did the MBR payload take? I know its assembler (c perhaps), but looks complex. I bet is enough to trash any partition record to the point of no return (at least without using a full disk scan like gpart) 4. Some mates and I are very interested in that payloads, and we could donate something if you wish to make a harmless edition, or a dump of the MBR payload
