It's good to see the infrastructure improved soo much. I always loved Guyana from the first time I traveled there in 1981freqiuntly until the 1990s, from Charity to Skeldon, from Georgetown to Lyndon what shocked me in 1981 was when I passed through Boarda Market was the amount of GOOD FOOD I saw in the market, and with your video, this still remains the same, the style of cooking has changed a bit, the twang/pronunciation seems to be changing too. Beautiful, Intelligent, and lots of information in your videos have been looking at it for hours at a time. My son is married to a Guyanese Girl and they have a son and daughter, my beautiful grandchildren, I had planned a last trip for 2020, well ( 911 COVID) ended that.

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. My husband is from Rosehall Guyana but he moved to NY when he was 6 years old. He has never been back. It was very special to see where he was born. His family owned the Lemonade Factory. Maybe one video you can go back and video the factory for him. Thank again. We so enjoy your videos.

I was not born there but my parents came from East Berbice and Den Amstel. When I went there, it did not look like this, but like most places, I can see progress and modernization. My only problem with Guyana is the snakes. Thanks for the video.

According to Google Earth, it is just under six (6) miles long. I lived in Canal No 1 (West Bank Demerara) for four years ('74 to '79), and according to the same Google Earth, the Canal-No1 road is seven (7) miles. Not that it matters much. LOL!
