Gosh! I wish I was in Ug! I'd have booked the livingroom and given it a Norwegian touch. Plus i love painting homes...love playing with colors. A white livingroom is a No No for me.

Darling, its equally as painful for me to always move🥺 Even leaving my little hostel room after campus got me dropping a tear or two while packing in the night; because I always get so attached to my spaces so I really related to this. Its always a full basket of mixed emotions, sadness and excitement, i wish i had one word for it. But congratulations darling. My mum and dad moved us from a flat we were renting to our dusty, unpainted bungalow when I was in my p.5...i cried so much! To me it all looked like we were entering poverty. I wish I knew then that “not renting” was a luxury. So check on the kids, they could be emotionally distressed. When I came back from school that term however, it was a little finished and Ive never forgotten the happy feeling. Be patient..this is your journey to true victory. Sending you hope and reassurance 💓

Will never forget when I came back home from school in 2012 and I found my dad had shifted us to a half roofed house😰😢omg it was a night mare I used to get scared I would never enter into that house alone,, but this God is ever faithful, we managed to finish school,got jobs and we are now working on completing our house, electricity is now on, water fully roofed and now working on the floor, my mum sleeps comfortably, no more mosquitoes and chilly nights,,,,, God is really faithful, all the best Manuela your house will be fully finished
I remember we entered an incomplete house in 2011, dust, discomfort with fear. But we learned to take one step at a time and complete one by one item. But it remains the best decision.
Congratulations on the move! My husband & I moved to our home late last year & it was very exhausting but fulfilling! Ofcourse we moved in with some works unfinished but it’s really about taking it one day at a time. It’s almost 8 months down the road & we are still setting up to make it a really beautiful cozy home… Our interior designer advised us to work on one room at a time…felt less overwhelming then & we are nowhere done but we love the small steps taken… May God make it easy for you as well…at the end of the day it’s just a great feeling to rest in your own house..knowing you can do whatever you want now…& you got all the time to make gorgeous final decisions about your house..without holding back!
