I am speechless. This is a truly wonderful review. Combination of technical, beautiful scenery and unboxing of a beautiful new toy all wrapped in a beautiful video package. You have illustrated the features very well and provided a real just in time review. You also pointed out to us what to expect, example you mentioned about the expected noise difference between this helmet and system 7. But you also explained the purpose of the helmet, ie it’s an adventure helmet rather than street. Keen to hear more about it after you ride in dusk and see how transition works, and how long it will transition from dark to transparent. Thank you so much Nick for making the time to provide this short and sharp review for your fellow riders. It’s amazing. You keep surprising us every time with beautiful reviews. Full respect.

Rami Daoud thank you sir. My intention was to create a more interesting review than the usual unboxing we see on RUclips. Glad to hear I'm heading in the right direction...

Well done Nick, helmet reminds me of the Stig from Top Gear. Like the white as well, was my first helmet and always been my favorite helmet color since then.

Thanks! Stig wears the Simpson Bandit which I actually used to wear on my VMax and make reference to in the video. Cheers, Nick

Thanks for the awesome feedback!!! Be sure to try one on before you buy, there's only 2 shell sizes and I've found the large to be a little too big, I've had to add some pieces of foam under the liner to make the fit a little more 'snug'. Cheers, Nick

Nice review, had been looking at this or Nexx WED2 in terms of adventure helmet. It’s a big step up in price to this, but looks good.
Once we open up a bit more(hey 15km today), be keen to see a longer term review on it and how it has performed.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the review. My camping gear is stacked up in the garage, ready to go as soon as the lockdown ends! Will put together another review once I've had a chance to use the helmet properly. Cheers, Nick

I'm sure it's a great helmet, but I only do modulars. Great for the Latin America or summertime USA heat at stops, and for communicating at gas stations, etc.

Good point and that's the reason I bought my modular BMW Carbon7 helmet, because of the hot Australian summer's, but once its closed it has a lot less airflow than the Klim. What modular helmet do you use, I'd be interested to know more?

@@theboomerangbiker1966 Scorpion Dual Sport helmet. Like other dual sports, it's noisy, but earplugs or earbuds take care of that. Very comfortable, for me anyway.

@@LATAMbiker great helmet, my riding has one. I really need to get some decent earplugs, do you recommend any or have a link you can post please?

Pretty cool helmet, Nick. The price is a bit steep but so is the BMW Enduro GS one. Like with everything, you get what you pay for.

$1,200 Australian Dollars for a helmet, ouch! But... it's a great helmet and I think it's a game changer, what do you guys think...? I'll send one of my Buff style neck tube/bandanas to the best comment...

Looks good. Some questions? Weight, Is the visor optically correct, [no distortion] Is there room to fit prescription glasses. Can goggles be used with the visor. Thanks.

@@Chris_Z. the helmet is very light for sure. I haven't tried glasses with the helmet as I always wear contact lenses as soon as I leave the house, they're a game changer. I also haven't tried goggles but the helmet is designed to work with them with the visor in place. And no distortion with the visor. Phew, hope all that helps you!

Top video mate. Appart from the front grill, the helmet looks great (although it does look a bit like a storm trooper)! How well does the transition from light to dark and back work? I've got a HJC i70. It's too narrow for my head and too noisy. I'd like to get a new helmet but I wasn't thinking of over $1000. I really like the peak. I bought a cheap Velcro add on peak for mine. Makes such a huge difference when the sun is low. I'd like a helmet that is quiet enough not to need ear plugs. Subbed.

Thanks mate, appreciate the great feedback. The transition visor is amazing, I've used one before. But one thing I have noticed is when you have the visor up for a minute or so in the sun, you get a couple of triangles under the peak which go clear due to the profile of the peak. No biggie, but a bit weird at first. I bought mine without being able to try it on because of lockdown, so a bit of a leap of faith. It's quite roomy and I've installed my JBL speakers without any issues. Thanks again, oh, and I hope I last longer than a Stormtrooper!
