From one firefighter to another🇸🇪💪🏽 is it tight with the speakers ,to the ears? Have the same scala jbl on a fxr carbonfibre. Have a shubert e1 to But it is to hevy for long data So klim is on the must have list now😀

May I ask how tall you are or what your head circumference is? I’m thinking of getting a Klim but there’s no dealer near my town. From the sizes of their website I’m right in between to either get the bigger or the smaller outer frame…
I always have to smile when I see Klim Krios. This helmet has its roots in Uvex Enduro which was very light and very comfortable helmet. I still own one and it was 130eur new. I dont like the plastic vents on the back - it will start to make strange noises once it loosens a bit. Visor and how it fits on gasket is not good and the whole mechanism is really cheap and a big pain to adjust. This is overall good helmet with great shape and comfort, thats for sure but it should cost around 400eur new. Actual cost of 700eur is really over the top. It would be really worth the money if they actually update the visor seal and visor mechanism so it feels like high end helmet.
i love the helmet just got mine under a week and yeah I don't agree with the pricing it's not that high quality and that big made in china text is telling. ordered an arai x-5 i'll see if that also just hype, if it is then I won't bother with these "premium" brands, there are a ton of mid range out there that's probably good enough for what these lids suppose to do.
I have a silly question but since I'm considering it, i hope you can help: when you ride with the vents open, can but get in? I know it's silly but I have this problem in my Nolan and I hate it. Also how would you rate the temperature in the summer? I live in Israel and it's freaking hot and I need something that's well ventilated. I don't do much off road so most likely I'll remove the peak, but ventilation is important:) Thanks and great video my friend!
Great review. One head's up is outrigger goggles don't fit the Krios well, even the Klims. It's okay, but clunky. Otherwise, I love this thing! Super light on the head
Did you have to cut into the helmet to get the JBL speakers to fit? I've got a Shoei RF-SR now, but am looking at a dual sport helmet now and love the thought of the Krios - I have the JBL Packtalk now.
No, they fit great, I cannot rave enough about the speaker quality, so glad I spent the extra $. I am going to put a review up on the headset once the snow flies
It is not bad. I can compare it to my last helmet the Shoei GT Air II and I would say they are very similar. Of course it isn't the quietest with the brim on and the air vents open, but it really isn't that bad!
Can I ask how this fits in comparison to a shoei? I heard you mention your previous shoei helmet. What model was it and did you also fit a 2xl in shoei? I'm an xl in my xr1100 and thinking of ordering 2xl for the klim. Thank you

Only complaint I have which isn't a deal breaker.. is the middle visor detents I don't usually rest my visor in the area .. but I wish it was like my Simpson which every detent it locks & holds there. Again other than that... love this lid 💯

Someone made a comment about the annoyance and potential danger of using the transition visor along with the peak due to the dark spots you can get when you flip the visor up and down. Have you ever experienced that as a problem or in a different situation have you gotten any partial dark areas on the visor while riding with the transition visor down. I am thinking maybe when the sun is at an angle and you get part of the peak shade on the visor. Hope it make sense. Thanks for your feedback.
Hasn't been my experience at all. I think most folks who moan about the dangers of transition shields don't wear glasses to ride. If you ride with your recommended glasses that comes with transition lens( I know it's optional) you won't have issues with this. I ddnt experience any dark spots at all. The transition to clear was less than 10 seconds and the darkening is rather progressive which also works very well.
The photos on Klim's website for this helmet in the color Charger Peyote shows it comes with orange cheek pads. Did yours come with orange cheek pads and you switched them out to black?
You failed to mention the annoying and potentially dangerous dark spots that are created on the visor when you flip it up for a short period. The daylight shines through the holes in peak and darkens the photochomatic visor in two distinct spots that when you drop the visor down end up directly in your field of vision. Not too bad for street riding, but if your off road and flipping the visor up and down to get some fresh air, and then you lower the visor it makes seeing the terrain properly very tough. Klim actually advises not to use the photochromatic visor with peak for that reason.
Correct, they advise not to use the auto visor with the brim installed...however, it is fast to transition back and it isn't so dramatic that it bothers me, but that is just my opinion!

Also same helmet as NISHUA Enduro Carbon with only 1100g. Like to wear it in summer conditions, the visor should be compatible.

Bugs? Not really, there is a mesh. And we have a lot of bugs! The temp control is the best I have seen in hot weather.

It has a detention in which the helmet can stay open 1-2mm for airflow, or you can close it all the way. Your choice

It is not bad. I can compare it to my last helmet the Shoei GT Air II and I would say they are very similar. Of course it isn't the quietest with the brim on and the air vents open, but it really isn't that bad!
I can't share this, the Shoei GT Air is much less noisy with better aerodynamic, using both helmets so far

Yes, definitely, Hello friend from just north of me. You will love it, it is the best helmet I have every had! Even good in the colder temps.

For the bronze...Size S came with orange however they got only black cheekpads for size M. Yeah I dont mind told the shop. Looks great in black too.

I fou d when I tried one on that it hurt the top of my head. It felt like there was no padding but hard plastic. Have you experienced this?

such a shame to have pinlock there. For that price I would expect to have antifog visor it self
