So Yuji didn’t heal his finger so Yuta wouldn’t lose his conditions for copy, that’s also why Yuta’s cleave seemed to be so low output when used on Sukuna. He only consumed a finger, not a hand. He wasn’t using it for lethality, it was just a misdirect. Yuta the GOAT frfr.

I just wanted to clarify that myamura interpreted one of the pages wrong, the sequence right after sukuna gets hit with “Resonance “,Mya claimed that yuji used “soul dismantle” on sukuna not giving him time to recover, then he follows up with a knee to sukuna’s face….but what actually happens here is that yuji’s domain sure hit effect which is confirmed to be “soul dismantles” is what actually hits sukuna and then yuji follows up with a knee to the face. hence why sukuna said “OH NO ,at this rate the kids sure hit effect will-“ implying he was going to open his domain before the sure hit effect landed.
Also the “oppapi” dialogue is a reference to when they thought yuji was dead in the beginning of the Kyoto exchange arc and yuji popped out the ice cream cart and surprised everyone

7:35 the reference nobara used is when Yuji came back to life in season 1 episode 14 when the crew saw him comeback to life. And Yuji says oppappi to them, idk how YOU MISSED THIS DETAIL AND BLAMING IT ON MYAMURA.
Yuji has been getting nothing BUT Ws in this arc:
1. Got his revenge on his uncle sukuna for all the pain and suffering he put him and megumi through and avenged the countless lives lost in the shabuya arc(He got help yes, But that shouldn't be counted against him.).
2. Got a full kit of abilities such as Shrine(soul dismantle, cleave), Blood manipulation, RCT, Simple domain, The ability to strike the soul, and a still unnamed and unexplained but (seemingly)Complete Domain expansion on the first try.
3. Wasn't sidelined for once, Actually had awesome moments and gave us a glimpse of his past, Letting go of his cog mindset and he finally SMILED a couple of times(Megumi fighting back, and nobara's return) Something he didn't do ever since the shabuya arc.
4. And finally, HE got to land the final blow on sukuna and megumi is finally saved.
My theory is that this is Some sort of a yuji redemption arc by Gege for how he handled yuji earlier in the series.

I personally don't like that so much new information, whether it be explanations, new plans, or new strategies, are so often explained through yet ANOTHER flashback to before Gojo vs Sukuna. It seems like absolutely anything could happen in Sukuna's favor but it doesn't matter bc we'll get a new flashback of Gojo and a few others discussing and setting counter measures for that specific scenario.
That's how story-writing works, you build up a situation and then make a twist. It's Japan's iconic story structure for you

What’s so clear now, is how fans exposed their stupidity with how this final arc was written. Anime fans never admit they can’t understand something, and honestly we aren’t good at measuring authorial intent and artistic vision. You’ll much sooner hear fans say “ Akutami or X writer has no clue what they’re doing, they’re making things up” which is the complete opposite of how professional artists work, and instead of delaying gratification we all create story defining headcanons and takes week after week. Now that we’ve seen the final phase, the overall raid was actually pretty brilliantly planned and well executed. The major thing was, the enemy was actually highly competent and could fight back and realize plans. Any headcanon that suggest some “ perfectly working out plan” where Sukuna is magically one shot is just stupid and reactionary. It’s a story man. Not a video game.
I saw someone say that it's a plot hole that yuji would make the inchained sukuna binding vow because it's a dumb decision, and this person made a 1 hour video about why jjk is bad.

Everyone had a feeling that this was going to happen, as a lot of us didn't really believe that Yuta had Rika eat Sukunas final finger, as Sukuna would have sensed it in Rika because his connection, and didn't notice its supposed presence. Not dawging on it, but this did get kind of predictable on what was going to happen. Especially after last chapters cliff hanger. Gojo, like how he kept Yujis first death/revival from everyone, most likely planned this the same way so that Sukuna wouldn't find out through soul resonance.
As Gege stated though, either everyone was dying, or Yuji was dying. I have a feeling he'll eat all 20 fingers after Sukuna spits the other 19 up, get the last one from where Nobara is, then die so he can take Sukuna with him permenantly as it was stated he needed all 20 eaten in order to permenantly kill Sukuna.
Gege did not cook with nobara coming back even if never said she flat out died he could've set it up better. Instead, he literally used her as a plot device
Like everything else in a story? It was a well-set-up plot device. It is explained why yuji didnt know and why yuji needed to be kept in the dark about everything. It the same thing as with todo’s return. Shit, megumi was a plot device, too, when he sank sukuna in the shadow, what are you talking about.

Bullshit, bruh... why would they do nobara this dirty... nobara would have been better off coming early, and not AT THE END OF THE MANGA, as soon as gege realized he needs nobara for her CT, he brought her back, with barely anytime to REDEVELOP her character. That's like abandoning something people like for 8 months, then coming back to developing it since your running low on cash, and say. "Oh, but I worked on it for 2 weeks consistently"
I love nobara. Hell, she's one of my most favorite female anime characters in all of anime, but this is not a good way to write this character. She's been gone ever since the story started to get serious, and to this point, it's been at least a hundred chapters since that happened.

Idk…. It is just hard for me to believe that yuji’s blackflash actually did something to sukuna…. Sukuna tanked gojo’s blue enhanced black flash which no one else could do and it barely knocked him out for a second…. Yet Gege wants you to believe that yuji is more powerful than gojo???
Yuji's Black Flash is worse currently. He also hits the barrier between souls with it. In the span of a couple of seconds, Sukuna got hit with resonance, soul Dismantle sure-hit, Yuji's attacks, and a Black Flash.

2. Why would you believe Gojo has any baring on Yuji’s Black Flash?
3. What makes you think Yuji had to hit Sukuna with more force than Gojo’s attacks to kill Sukuna? There are so many complicated mechanics involved in fighting, nevermind Jujutsu Combat, that there’s plenty of ways to argue someone can kill someone else without hitting them as hard as the last person hit them.
You refuse to engage with the nuance of the story, that’s why you don’t believe it. Me? I think maybe Sukuna used more Cursed Energy and greater defensive methods to survive Gojo’s big attacks, and the black flashes of Yuji from before, than he had available to him for this last hit.
Like, it’s almost like hitting him with a crit upon seeing an opening would be a strong application of damage… It’s almost like there’s multiple ways to skin a cat. 😂😂😂
I like when Yuji tells Sukuna to put an end to this ever cycling curse it calls back to when Kenjaku told Choso that if those 2 coexist the cycle of curses will never end

The sheer amount of people back then that were like "Megumi's sad face is explicit proof! What more do you want" is insane lol. Always knew that was a strange way to end off a main character. I just accepted she had a crappy off-screen death because we were so far into the end.
No one has survived a yuji nobara combo, now she is back from the dead to help yuji deliver a final blow, lets hope this brings sukuna down for good.

Imma be real, idk how I feel about the last few chapters cause first gege stated that nobara was dead, him bringing her back feels kinda like an ass pull , not to mention the random flashbacks blasting my brain whit shi I didn’t even know wich felt like trying to make sense of this whole fight that honestly started losing me after sukuna climbed Jacob’s ladder, and all the unanswered questions like yuji’s parents, the merging ,what was that soul swapping training,sukuna’s past and more, considering gege never really wanted a school setting for his story I think he’s just trying to rush the whole thing and get done whit jjk, still a dope ass fight tho.

A few words for thought… the merger Tengen and the six eyes…. And yes gojo are all woven by fate. Mark my words sukuna right before losing megumis body and dying will activate the merger. This is where Gojo comes back to play. He uses a binding vow to save everyone. Whether he has a real on screen death this time or is left powerless, either would be neat.
