I'm waiting for a statement like : "This game is so complex that even after finishing it's development we still don't know what this game is all about."
I had watched this entire trailer and had just been assuming this was a Kojima game because the trailer explained very little and had Kojima level strangeness to it but it turns out it's a capcom game and I feel like i'm the biggest clown around.
I didn't get this at first but reading someone' elses comment I get it and agree with them. It seems there in a dome on the moon. Satellite crashes through and they get sucked outside of the dome. From there they can see planet earth. The girl says what is that and the guy says freedom. Perhaps they didn't know about the earth and have been living all their time is a fake digital society on the moon. Definitely interesting concept, graphically looks great too, so will definitely be one to check out.

Yes but also.. things; in Proclus ta pragmata also mean the transcendent realities, noetic entities, real beings. And from the trailer, it seems theres going to be a lot of that. What's real, what it means to be "alive", and many more philosophical questions. I can dig it.
This game is called pragmata because there are many "things" that are practically an obstacle in your path that will stop to you from reaching your Final Destination. I think there some kind of philosophy\metapher to this game about reality. 🤔

This trailer is awesome! Great quality, definitely caught my interest, and has me intrigued! Sound design is pretty dope too! I'll be waiting for this game till 2022. If I had to nitpick however, the girl's hair looks kinda janky, and it kinda clips into itself. And the man's suit where the top part of the thigh and the pelvis connects moves just a small bit too much, the nature of it is almost skin-like. Otherwise, this is awesome! I'm excited.
I wanna play this, I’m already very interested. More on a story basis though, I mean, why were they locked into what seems the actual moon, are they cyborgs or androids, are they test subjects for a new type of weapon? So many unexplained things.

The little girl is an android, and apparently the moon was hollowed out and made into an advanced earth-like colony with a mega city. I'm going to assume something happened to the moon and everyone's dead or missing. It's likely related to the warped architecture that has a rather surreal Escher look to it. Probably interdimensional shenanigans and humanity messing with quantum sciences they don't understand leading to a shattered reality. Whenever this game comes out, let me know if I was right.
That’s a VERY good theory I like it, it has some similarities with mine, I’d like to share my theory for the game too. Pragmata takes place in a dystopian near future simulation of earth on the moon, this simulation was meant to be an accurate depiction of earth and simulate things as realistically as possible. Everything in this simulation is some kind of android or A.I. of some kind such as the holographic cat and little android girl/loli. Nobody’s aware that they’re living in a simulation until strange catastrophic glitch in the system anomalies start happening that break the illusion like that satellite crashing through the sky. You take con control of the astronaut as he attempts to get off of the moon and make it to the real earth, along the way he runs into that little girl who seems to be some kind of android or cybernetically enhanced child made to simulate an actual little girl. We will bring her along on our adventure and she will play a major role in the story and gameplay, such as enhancing/augmenting our suit so we can use cool gadgets and weapons like she did with that giant net. We’ll probably have to protect her and keep her safe, but she’ll also be very useful for us to help escape and make it back to earth. That’s just my theory I don’t know how accurate I am, if I am at all. If we see more I’d like to see how accurate my theories/predictions are. : )

(from the announcement trailer) I might be wrong but I think pragmatic here means pragmatico which means real so this game has parallel universe or something like that where reality and a parallel false illusion are all mixed represented by the holograms in the trailer...which look real but are obviously not. The grand reveal of the theme was when the glass roof broke through, see how the "astronaut" keep on looking there as if he sees hope or redemption but that hope is shattered when the actual glass roof is shattered showing that it was just a false illusion and not real. Also it's not too far fledged to think that the girl is also not real because the astronaut has to wear all that suit and gear to survive while the girl is dressed normally showing that she too is an illusion. I think there is also a concept of multi level illusion like in the movie inception with multi level dreaming ( dreams within dreams) which is showed by how the cat is an illusion to the girl and the girl herself is an illusion for the astronaut showing the different levels. And lastly i think there is a sense of "getting pulled away from reality" shown in the last scene where the girl asks "what is that" because she doesn't know what earth is as she is an illusion with her own different world and the astronaut says freedom conveying the "real" earth is freedom from the "illusion" space they are in and he says "our freedom" which may mean they can both get out of the illusion and come back to reality and free themselves. IF I JUST NAILED THE ENTIRE PLOT AND CONCEPT OF THE GAME RIGHT THERE, I AM GOING TO feel GOOD. Analysing death stranding trailers for months before the release really taught me a lot xd

What ive gathered so far from the trailer There's some sort of person? Soldier? somebody wearing some sort of suit that is high-tech, presumably looking for the girl in the trailer. They use some sort of disposable nano bot container that show the person who was there previously The girl has a robot that is shaped like a cat that can also make a somewhat realistic hologram projection The soldier finds the girl, soon a space station crashes through the city, exposing the fact that they're underground The stuff starts flying upwards because the internal air is leaking through the hole into the vacuum of space. The girl however is able to survive even with no air, and she seems to have some implants of some kind. Possibly a Cyborg / Full on robot with AI or a stored consciousness? And their goal perhaps is to return to Earth Other noteworthy information The person in the suit seems to have a quick 3d Printer of sorts, that can print in multiple materials within moments, perhaps using either pure energy or a large supply of raw materials Theories The person in the suit was sent from earth to look for the girl Maybe the Suit Person is trying to leave the moon city and go back to earth and they stumble upon the girl
it's like , each frame the developers work on , they ask themselves : "hmm , how should we make the next rendering frame so that we minimize the math function F = making_sense()"

I hope she IS always with us and IS our companion throughout the entire game. I think she’s super cute and attractive, plus she’ll probably be able to upgrade our suit, weapons and gadgets to help us out!

What ive gathered so far from the trailer
There's some sort of person? Soldier? somebody wearing some sort of suit that is high-tech, presumably looking for the girl in the trailer.
They use some sort of disposable nano bot container that show the person who was there previously
The girl has a robot that is shaped like a cat that can also make a somewhat realistic hologram projection
The soldier finds the girl, soon a space station crashes through the city, exposing the fact that they're underground
The stuff starts flying upwards because the internal air is leaking through the hole into the vacuum of space.
The girl however is able to survive even with no air, and she seems to have some implants of some kind. Possibly a Cyborg / Full on robot with AI or a stored consciousness?
And their goal perhaps is to return to Earth
Other noteworthy information
The person in the suit seems to have a quick 3d Printer of sorts, that can print in multiple materials within moments, perhaps using either pure energy or a large supply of raw materials
Theories
The person in the suit was sent from earth to look for the girl
Maybe the Suit Person is trying to leave the moon city and go back to earth and they stumble upon the girl
