LOW-RANGE 4WD MECCA • Muddy, sloppy, gnarly!!

- In this issue of 4WD Action, Graham and Shauno visit Bulahdelah, and the locals are keen to show them their favourite tracks! These tracks make Coffs look like a walk in the park - we’re talking bog holes that’d swallow a tank, ruts that any 4WD is guaranteed to lift a wheel on, and clay mud so slippery it’s like ice!
With Shauno in his brand spanker of a 79 Series and Graham in his trusty D-MAX, are these blokes biting off more than they can chew?
This is 4WD Action at its muddiest, sloppiest, gnarliest best!

Graham you leaving to save your house really hurt my heart. Glad to hear you and yours were okay.
Even if I am a couple of years late
Im 70 been 4 wheelin for awhile now, really enjoy you guys adventure , wish I was there. Be safe. Thanks for the videos and cheers from the USA
Every time I watch your videos makes me want to go 4wheel right after.
Cheers From Canada!!
One other thing to throw in your potato bake is a sprinkle or whole packet depended on size of French onion seasoning, you'll love it!
That bridge is such a beautiful picture and it looks like paradise
That bridge at about 27 min mark is called a 'Steele Bridge'. Was Australian designed and made during WW2 by an Australian Engineer called Steele.
Was developed due to a shortage of British made Bailey bridges during the war. East coast is dotted with Bailey Bridges but not many Steele Bridges out there. Good find!
why was it put here of all places? its now closed off
@@kathamilton4707 can't tell exactly why but the East Coast is dotted with Steele and Bailey bridges that I can only assume we're emplaced at request of local governments or landowners when the bridges were phased out of service
@@Wickham09 do you much about the bulahdelah area? in fo centre is currently closed and google is no good cheers
@@kathamilton4707 unfortunately not :(
You lads just made my day! Nothing like new content from 4wd Action!
the joke about the sneeze was great
That D MAx is awesome! Were so left out here in the USA with cool 4wd vehicles!
Love the unseen gems, i thought I'd watched them all. These videos, from before Jocko was born, show Graham and Shauno in all their aussie glory. Thanks for the fun and laughs as well.
This is episode 253, they are now up to 277 so it’s almost 2 years old. I was up there last weekend. Most of the tracks were overgrown or closed now and strike a light is a borderline dumping ground, glass, cans and rubbish all over it. Great episode though 👍
samo229 WA fires were in early 2016, so around 2 years ago yeah
samo229 that is un Australian! Beautiful camp ground is now a dumping ground, that makes me sick
You bloody legends! Cheers for breaking the monotony of a Tuesday arvo at work!
Cheers from the USA! Wow I wish I could drive some of this terrain! Always a heck of a good time watching you boys drive all over.
That 79 flexes like a brick
like a brick with a steel pole up its ass...
Haha. I wouldn’t bother spending your money on one mate!
I think it could be dealt with by fitting disconnect able anti roll bars
Havent seen one properly set up yet, and theres lots of blokes throwing coin at them these days. Even Patriot Campers 6x6 which has full custom suspension has similar tendencies.
and what do you drive a flinstone car
I've watched a few of your videos now and I'm just blown away of the capability of the Isuzu. Not taking away from the jockey, but the vehicle is just handling the terrain so well. Always been an Isuzu lover (Had 2 KB's) even-though I'm driving Land Cruiser today.
Lovin the patrol with the 5ltr I've got a shorty with a 5ltr in it on 35 muddies aswell
Yewwww been hanging for a new video!!
Great video guys, thanks greetings from Holland Jan
hey just to let you guys know, youtube is recommending you guys like crazy to me right now but only your longer videos none of the 2 minute ones are being reccomended. something about the algorithm likes that video length. keep it up.
The mighty 79 love this show.
I didn’t know a sneeze was so heavy,, you fellows is crazy... Myrtle beach South Carolina watching....
How good is that GQ? Warren is quite the driver as well! Cheers mates. Also, glad to hear Graham's house was spared. Hopefully you and your families are safe during the current fires as well! Cheers!
what a series I absolutely love this show.
what a adventure!! love this video!! my old man is watching this in Brasil right now
Good luck to ya graham I hate it when we have bushfires in Australia
love the tips Graham gave on the photo of the bridge would like to see more of these tip as well as the driving tip with the auto always come in handy
"Roses are red, the mud is brown, windows are up and the throttle down". That looked like he made that up on the spot...I love it.
The attitude graham got in this episode i want in every episode 😅
Warren is a legend. Really nice bloke.
Gotta love a bit of early week 4wd action
What a great video, love it. Still amazed at how much traction you guys have in the mud, here in Canada, no chance in those kind of wet conditions
I like that your bringing out the D-Max on 31's It shows these vehicles are plenty capable in the right hands. I drive a JKU on 33's KM2 No Lift. Winched once for a high center. "One wheel spin a little man says Stop that" Love it. That recipe looked great. I will be trying it. Thank you.
Warren... the block driving a Nissan, with a Ford grill, Holden engine and jeep hat 😂
Love it mate glad graham's house survived, I'm in the market for a lwb pajero 2.8, and can't wait to hit the trails myself.
I'm just not sure why there is such a following for 4 tonne Landcruisers, after seeing how efficiently the Dmax climbed that slippery section, maybe for towing or a big family, but solo 4WDing? Full disclosure have never owned or driven one.... appreciate the patience required for these tough drives you fellas put yourselves through for us couch bandits!!!
Who needs an ASMR video when you have these boys eating their potato bake. 🤤🤙
Probably one of the best ones you've done so far boys keep up the good work another full legs feel how good is that
" never go into a bog hole with a sneeze onboard"😂😂
Awesome episode, love the way you guys are such good role models.
Nice to show how to do things safely and doing work on the tracks as you go as well which helps everyone.
a blast from the past!!!!
Another great video guys. Cheers from the USA
I honestly love this show you guys did a show with a custom 200 series with a custom canopy/tray I meet the bloke and have a td42 s3 gu wagon patrol and can’t wait to start doing this stuff blokes keep up the positive good work
Firstly good to hear that Graham's house was safe from the fire in WA ... also thanks for the tip on getting rid of your sneezes before hitting the mud, tried it yesterday and the old Patrol TI jus powered through the mud :) Shaun the buggy you have sounds bloody awesome. Good on ya fellas for another great video ................
Looks funny when Shawn trhought the bug really serious face. Like it
Keep em' comin' boys! Cheers from California.
Probably one of my favorite episodes
My goodness what a great video! :D I'd love to do this one day! In Norway we're not allowed to use the wilderness as much as you guys. Keep up the good work. And that D-Max, wow!
These full length films are life
Keep up the long vids boys!
This literally looks like last year or this year, I watched a video 3 years ago and it looked like the 1900s🤯🤯
Graham said not to put your thumbs in the steering wheel. He just did that haha. Quite a few times actually 😂
Bulahdelah is like a 10 minute drive from my door step. There are definitely some top tracks out there!
My absolute favorite off-road channel!! Great Job Guys
Love D'max. Thanks boy's 😉
Please add the episode after this one guys!! From forster myself and yet to discover tracks!!
You guys put on a FANTASTIC show. And no one here can rightly say you fellas pussyfoot around on easy trails a Camry can make lol.
Something about you Aussies...you all seem to love those crazy nutball trails that would make a tank work really hard to get through.
got damn I love this friggin channel!!! Is there any remotely close show in America to these mates?
They should definitely do a 4WDAction America. Who wants to start it with me?
Check out a first rate gang of guys In BC called "The story 'till now" on YT.
I hope I can experience the same adventure even once in my lifetime.... Great video as always....
Uhhhhh that 79 sounds sooooo good Shawno,!!! Love it 🥰
Loving these longer videos! Keep up the good work :)
Nice track and romp boys... thanks mates
"About as good as it gets" drinking game
"sensational"
"this is what its all about "
‘Grab something cold’
Happier then a dog with 2 tails
As graceful as a hippopotamus on roller skates
yes grayham a photograph that takes you on their , gives you a journey to remember
Awesome as always!
That's was my backyard growing up, where I rode a lot, but also where I learnt a lot about 4wding
Absolutely awesome. Fantastic tracks out there 😎
That guy is so cool and chilled !!
I love watching shano in suttie but that Dmax goes just anywhere cheers. Gotta love that sound off a beer cracking yeah
worked on a lot of Dmax's and thought these are alright. after watching this now i want one!!
It's quite amazing where Graham has been in his D-MAX's!
cheers for reply! yes i am impressed!
I'd like to suggest a cordless impact gun for one of the trail rigs. Would make tire changes much faster. They don't weigh a whole lot and wouldn't take up much space either.
@11:50 it applies the break to the spinning tire until tire speeds match and will try its best to keep it this way. That's why traction control won't work if a abs light is on in the dash. Or if a stick rips out the wires to a abs sensor on your wheel bearing
Superb Video and what a performance, Good job
Love the 79 series
I live inbetween those bushfires
"Where others winch i make it" next hill Graham is the only 1 to winch 🤣
40:30 haha "You can put the camera down"
There's no show without Graham apparently.
Considering that the S/T Maxx is an 'in-between' all-terrain and mud-terrain tire and the type of mud they went through, I'm very impressed with its performance on Shauno's Land Cruiser. Wow.
Love you guys and ur channel, some day i will look forward to meet you all. keep rocking.
Awesome vid guys, keep it comin!!!
i wish i was there.
That Isuzu always amazes-me! great show guys, Cheers from Brasil.
Very nice video
Not just the four wheeling skills
But the tents and cooking also look good 👍👌🤠
Nice chemistry u share with each other,
😇
Try to include a 6x6 vehicle also in Ur fleet🤠
Bless you Graham
Thanks guys keep them coming
Thank you for the video I happy to see GREAT TRIP FUN
also 4wd action should do a collab with all 4 adventure! who would like to see that
Went up today. Sadly the bridge near Strike-a-light camp has been blocked off with 2 huge concrete barriers. First time up there, I was keen to drive over it. Bugger.
Another great Video.
We need to see a Wrangler Rubicon in these, maybe even mine
Hey Warren, love that GQ, what a beast
not wrong.
I BARELY hear half of what Shauno is saying but i love his narrations and his crazy camp cooking Chef Shauno
Better content and hosts than anything from the states!
episode 253, loved it had to watch it again
great video guys you guys should do more trips like this and videos great work
Great shoot guys keep them coming
Guys, That silly little bottle jack looks pretty sketchy. Have you considered an air bag jack? No worries about the ground being soft or slipping on the underbody. A small onboard compressor and bob's your uncle. And you can slide it under a gap you can't get a jack. Could be a safer way?
love the videos guy i look forward to them
Big 79 beast love that rig!!!
An amazing trick with the potatoes!!! hahahaha
You legend boys! Love a full episodes.
Great vid
I love the 79 series
Lachlan Cannon
The 79 series was the worst 4x4 out of all of them
