Ahh, lovely to see actors from Sons and Daughters in this. I wish it had been shown, many actors I recognise from other shows, that were shown here in the UK

I’ve recently rewatched the Sullivans and Carson’s law on DVD - Also popular shows from my childhood. A lot of the shows from the era were stored on video which is about to expire. If anybody has copies they should submit them for digitisation and preservation at the Australian film and TV archives in Canberra before they are lost forever
The series should be replayed on the ten network which seems to have ignored the show. I think it was North Ryde studios which staged the above episode.
Thanks for the upload. I watched at the time and recall the series was popular (and I liked it), but never really taken seriously but rather considered as a trashy teen soap by critics. Seeing this, it doesn't seem that bad at all! It has aged well.
I know you're not meant to think about this too hard, but Miss McKenzie retired the same year the original cast members left school. That would have made her around 64? Peter Beckett would have been say, 16, maybe 17, assuming that he was good enough to last to year 12 or Form 6, which, the show suggests that he wasn't. So it seems that Miss McK would have had Peter in her 40s. Considering she was working at a school, how the heck did she even hide such a thing let alone make such a decision to give him up? Love this show as a kid, though. :)

This brings back memories. I remember watching it from the very first episode and picked up early on that Miss Mackenzie was Peter's birth mother.
