I've always loved this episode, because I actually was in a work/study program in the 80's at John Marshall High School here in Chicago. They called it the CWT program at the time.
A LOT of kids today (and sadly even adults) desperately need this lecture from George and Louise. Whatever your color or socioeconomic status, crime is never the right path. And you're just as guilty if you don't commit crimes but make excuses for them. For one, just look at what San Francisco has become.
George: Well, look BOY!!!!! 😆😆😆😆 Louise: When George and I were first married, we lived off of mayonnaise sandwiches George: Yeah, without bread. 😆😆😆😆 #Classic
George was wise to tell Mr. Stockwood that it was a good program. It looked like maybe it hadn't worked out for Marcus but that didn't mean it wouldn't work out for others. Good of George to give Marcus another chance. Since Lionel didn't want to be in the dry cleaning business, Marcus could've someday become George's 2nd hand man and had a great career for himself.
George always had a big heart ❤️
Absolutely! I love shows that give a troubled youth another chance!!!!!
That was so powerful
Marcus wasn't his son, but 4:31 is when George went full father mode!
A little empathy goes a long way.

That’s how it’s suppose to be. If the parents can’t or won’t do it, we need to pull these kids in instead of pushing the down or away

I'm the man well look boy
I betcha Becky Lynch were to say she's the Man, and says look boy? What if Becky Lynch were to say well look boy?
I can’t stand people with these attitudes
