I just HAD to comment! Every word was understandable and enumciated correctly. The song was done in a holy manner without facetious acting. Each part was heard and done correctly. In other words, my favorite gospel song was sung without a fault.
I was in the audience when this was performed and it gave you chills and made your eyes water. People were stunned and awestruck. It was the single best vocal performance I have every heard. Thank you for posting and sharing the memory!
Just love Jeff's voice. He could be a tenor singer. No wonder the tenor singer goes into a falsetto. High notes to reach when Jeff sings the lead. Wonderful group.
Christian Davis is just awesome, such a deep timbre, and sometimes he lets emotion come through that gives me tears, love this group, all around excellent.
we used to sing this at bible camp a million years ago BUT it went will the boys be ready, sung by the boys and will the girls be ready , sung by the girls good times at that bible camp I couldn't possibly love this more!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christian Davis is an amazingly solid bass and Jeff Parker from Canaans crossing had an amazing voice. he's one of those guys that can song almost any part kinda like Jamie Dailey. amazing job on this old hymn.
These four guys together have something really special. Jamie and Darrin were always a good act, but filling out the sound with Jeff Parker and Christian Davis was genius. Fabulous harmony and such a spectacular job on this song. Hope to see you in person soon! And THANKS!
Sadly Christian doesn't sing bass for them anymore. Aaron McCune is the current bass. Christian is a friend of mine and he is pursuing a solo ministry now. Great guy
@@sandrareid8728 From Middle Tennessee. Bluegrass is in my blood, also. It has been all my life. It's probably because we all come from good Southern Scots-Irish stock.
Oh my gosh!!! That is amazing!!! I got tears and goosebumps at same time! James Black the composer was my son's great great grandfather. My ex Bradley Black is my son Aaron's father, so very direct line. I was a music major in college at U of Oregon and this is one of the best barbershop meld of voices I've ever heard!
The chubby one with the bright orange tie and the bass singer have beautiful voices. I've never cared much for falsetto tenors but these guys can sing.
Jeff Parker is certainly an unknown and seriously underrated ear piercing Tenor type singer. He sang that part for Dailey and Vincent in their Acapella sessions for nearly a decade. You would (ok, I wouldn't) never probably expect that wail or that high pitched noise come from him and his vocal cords but damn if it doesn't. He ties the quad together nicely.
Hebrews 11:16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
I watched Dailey & Vincent's TV show on the Circle network this week. Their guest was Country Music Hall of Famer Jimmy Fortune (Statler Bros.). Jimmy was supposed to share a hand-held mic with Dailey & Vincent's Jeff Parker, the gray-headed, rotund singer on the left in this vid, but Parker was a mic hog and for some reason, kept the microphone away from Jimmy. So disrespectful.
What's your problem packington? Are you just a troll? I saw them in Chillicothe, OH, when they were nearly rained out and they did a great job. You need to pack it in.
I feel God’s Grace every time I hear this song, I Love It!!!
I just HAD to comment! Every word was understandable and enumciated correctly. The song was done in a holy manner without facetious acting. Each part was heard and done correctly. In other words, my favorite gospel song was sung without a fault.
You guys sound fantastic😊
One of the most inspiring and electrifying vocal performances I have ever seen. Was so fortunate to be in the audience for this.
The best rendition of this song. Ever.
OH SO GOOD!!!!!! Thank y'all SO Much for sharing your gifts with us and Glorifying Our Lord at the same time!
Praise the Lord! Jesus is calling many home. Look up, while we rejoice. These folks are a blessing.
Some of the finest singing I've ever heard!
What makes it even more amazing than usual is that they switched parts part way through. What incredible talent!
.
That was just incredible, absolutely beautiful! You know God had to be smiling when he heard this one! This thrilled my soul, God bless!
it is so wonderful to have a gospel music concert or who ever sings it is so wonderful and I am blessed beyond measure. I love you guys.

I have goosebumps now, sittin in my recliner with the laptop! LOL
I was in the audience when this was performed and it gave you chills and made your eyes water. People were stunned and awestruck. It was the single best vocal performance I have every heard. Thank you for posting and sharing the memory!
I can see why. They are fabulous. I love to hear them sing and especially Acapella.
How does someone sit in their seats and listen to this and not have the spirit to hit them and praise them for the awesome job of singing it too
Brothers and sisters that right there is how you do it now awesome job
I hope they are all ok during COVID.
I could listen to that all day. That bass, wonderful voice.

Beautiful harmony and it gets in your heart and your head- Amen ! Great Job Guys
Just love Jeff's voice. He could be a tenor singer. No wonder the tenor singer goes into a falsetto. High notes to reach when Jeff sings the lead. Wonderful group.
I think Jamie might actually be higher than Jeff. But both (all of the group) great voices.
after wiping the tears from my eyes, all i can say is WOWWWWWWW!!!!!!
Christian Davis is just awesome, such a deep timbre, and sometimes he lets emotion come through that gives me tears, love this group, all around excellent.
I'm not big into gospel music but this performance is stunning. Absolutely beautiful! Amazing job!!
Doesn't get any better than this
WOW…..I met Daily and Vincent, back when they started their tour, the voices are just perfect!!!
Love this!! Gave me goosebumps!!!
we used to sing this at bible camp a million years ago BUT it went will the boys be ready, sung by the boys and will the girls be ready , sung by the girls good times at that bible camp I couldn't possibly love this more!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW ! ! ! Farrrrrr OUT! Beautiful job!
Christian Davis is an amazingly solid bass and Jeff Parker from Canaans crossing had an amazing voice. he's one of those guys that can song almost any part kinda like Jamie Dailey. amazing job on this old hymn.
Wow. I've been a fan of acapella for decades now, and you have the perfect blend of technique and feel. Love it!
These four guys together have something really special. Jamie and Darrin were always a good act, but filling out the sound with Jeff Parker and Christian Davis was genius. Fabulous harmony and such a spectacular job on this song. Hope to see you in person soon! And THANKS!
+JIM LATTIMORE Thanks for naming the others singers, was wondering who they were.
Sadly Christian doesn't sing bass for them anymore. Aaron McCune is the current bass. Christian is a friend of mine and he is pursuing a solo ministry now. Great guy
@@WoodJack99 Oh, I miss Christian. Not to take anything way from the new bass man, but Christian Davis is the best bass singer I have ever heard!!!
I hope everyone is ready, his glorious return is rite around the corner.
Wow.... That was outstanding.
I love your music. Bluegrass is in my blood. Being from a small town Waynesville North Carolina. Got to say I rate it a A plus.
Tammy Clark. I am from Canton and Bluegrass in my blood too.
@@sandrareid8728 From Middle Tennessee. Bluegrass is in my blood, also. It has been all my life. It's probably because we all come from good Southern Scots-Irish stock.
Christians hair took me aback. Gotta love it. He has an amazing bass range! In fact, the whole group is pretty awesome.
Jeff's voice is amazing.
Very thankful when the Roll is called up yonder I'll be there,Glory to the FATHER ❤❤
My goodness. What wonderful harmony.
Wow that's some outstanding vocal work. Not an instrument anywhere and it sounds GREAT
Love these guys! saw them four times this year!

Amen! Let us sing it and live it!
Very very good, I really enjoy these guys.
Beautiful song it is touching

Brilliant performance
That bass is stunning! Christian Davis has an impressive talent.
He’s also a wife (and daughter) abuser, hypocrite, and political bigot. Not kidding
that was absolutely incredible!..4:15 was over the top awesome!!.. Thanks for sharing!..
Just beautiful.
Solid bass. Awesome!
The chubby one with the bright orange tie and the bass singer have beautiful voices. I've never cared much for falsetto tenors but these guys can sing.
I just love that song❤
My Grandmother’s and my favorite!

Precisely.
An award Winning performance
Have mercy on these older men god bless!
Wow!! Great voices.
Beautifull ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Goosebumps big time! LOL!
I like this
😘😘😘👍👍❤️ what a feat..❤️
This nice song i need in two o three languages at the same time!
I love singing that bass line with him. Tenor gets all the attention but without the bass it sounds hollow.
Definitely. The bass is the anchor of all the voices.
In fact! Fill in all the others. Of weight and support. I also follow the bass :)
Out-standing!
AMEN BABY!!!! Rock on!
Have Mercy! Wow!
Wow, what a strong bass singer! ;)
awesome times 10
Powerful!
Amazing
Awesome!!!
it old song /but it is still so true

You guys oughta go to the National Quartet Convention in Louisville Ky next year.
Awesome!
Great song
The biggest performance ever.

Aman and Aman!!!! ☝☝
wow... i jus say AMEN!!!
Why is Jeff wearing biker glasses? lol
Parker for the win!
I watched Dailey & Vincent's TV show on the Circle network this week. Their guest was Country Music Hall of Famer Jimmy Fortune (Statler Bros.). The turn in the voice at 1:55
Updated
What are the guys names? Best version of this song yet!
Jamie Daly-tall blonde guy
Darrin Vincent-little guy
Christian Davis-bass (dark haired young guy)
Jeff Parker-bigger older guy
James and Mann
The bass singer looks like a hairy Tim Duncan!
do not play this kind of this tunes but there pretty good and i think of my ground mother that has passed 2 years ago.she loved groups like this
Was definitely thrown off by who the bass voice was....
Many people are. You'd think it would be either Jeff or Jamie.
Saw them in Ohio ALL the members were VERY unfriendly! ,No electric instruments like TV show no piano. Drove 200 miles....never again.
What's your problem packington? Are you just a troll? I saw them in Chillicothe, OH, when they were nearly rained out and they did a great job. You need to pack it in.
10 atheists don't have any songs!
mandograssable bwahahahahahahahahhah
Could some people chip in and get Dailey a comb and the young kid a haircut?
Good grief. You must really like to complain. Bless your heart, get a life.
The bald guy is great but they should do this with music, it might help the other guys stay in pitch?
Vocal music is music. I think you have a pitch problem; they were spot on, even bending pitches and back.
Hmm, let me guess. You're tone deaf?
Wtf 3000
