Hi Jeremy, what do you think? Which one of these two pair of earbuds are better in terms of quality sound? I would like to buy a good pair of earbuds with cristal clear and powerful sound. Some people are saying that, the Pros are almost similar to the sound of headphones in terms of powerful sound. I said ALMOST, not exactly like the sound of the big overear headphones of course. So, what do you think?
I recognize l2p doesn't measure up to sonys in terms of features, but from a sound perspective, I'll have to disagree with you this once Aaron, l2p with those drivers set them on another level. For the price, this is a no brainer.
Hi Reginald! What do you think, which ome of these earbuds are better in terms of sound quality(cristal clear sound, good bass, powerful sound): Liberty 2 pro', Sony wf-1000xm3, or Jabra Elite Active 75t's?
@@heavenmystery2020 I have tested all 3 75t has more bass than both. Sony seems to have better SQ, liberty 2 pro somewhere between both. Sound stage is best on the sony . I heard that sennheiser tws is even better than sony will check that one too.
Johnny7 If money is not the issue then go for Sennheiser mtw/ mtw2. Otherwise for call quality and good bass sound go for Jabra active 75t (compared to liberty 2 pro and sony)
I have the anker liberty 2 pro. The left does connect but you have to pair the earbuds to the left as well in order for them to work on left earbud. They are exceptional earbuds but I really hate the fact that there isn't an ambient sound option. Could you please confirm this but I heard that the ambient feature is coming through a software update. Thank you for another great review. I take your reviews extremely seriously. You're up there with Just Doin Life, El Jeffe, Gamesky, Flossy Carter and MKBHD for me.
@@aaronloudnwireless Also, I wonder if an update like this has ever been successful, audio pass through on a software update. This may be a lie but I'm not sure what is needed on a set of buds to make this happen. The last company I heard that was trying to implement this before anker was Lypertek w/their Tevi's. Would be nice. Thank you again.
The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds finally do not feel like they are heavy stones about to fall out of my ears with every move of my head like the Sony XM3 earbuds did. The Sony ear buds lasted me 24 hours while the Liberty 2 Pros are definite keepers. I’m a fan.
I disagree with you on this one, more bass on the xm3's? No, I don't think so, the l2p have double the diameter bass drivers especially lined up perfectly to minimize distortion as much as possible. Other people also seem to agree the bass on the l2p's have more clarity and feel more accurate.
Ive had many many earbuds.. The Sony was a good one , but the fit was awkward. They are really big . They are also very expensive. The Anker soundcore 2 pro are excellent.. Can be bought for £60/£70 used . And are amazing . I own the soundcore liberty 2 . These are airpod like , and the sound battery everything is awesome. Another option for a cheap and incredible earbud Try Anker P2 life. They are £35 on Amazon .
I just bought a set of the Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro ear buds and man they sound a lot better than the Sony XM3’s, just my opinion. The bass on the Liberty Pro 2 ear buds are booming and far more “authentic” or “accurate” like would I’d find on my 4000 watt Samsung Giga Sound MX JS-9500 sound system, think dual 18” subwoofers. The bass is the same as my 18” subs when listening to heavy bass hip hop. I did have to update mine to the latest firmware so I don’t know how they sounded on your firmware as they had a change to the treble.
The Liberty 2 Pro sound way better on phone calls and compare well to my AirPods Pro’s. There does seem to be a little noise cancelling from them being in ears. Driving the 56 passenger bus with one in one ear while tour guide us playing loud music I can still hear audio books just fine almost as well as my AirPod Pros.
I can use the right or the left Soundcore Liberty 2 pro normal. If i connect them and i put the main one back in case and close it. It need about 3-5 secounds to connect the other one.
How does the WF-1000XM3 support multipoint? I’m not aware that it supports that. I’ve found nothing in the instructions that attests to that fact. I have them but also bought the 75T’s for its multipoint ability.
Hi l lost soundcore pro 2 case.if l buy life a2 nc can l use this case for soundcore pro 2 earbuds? it seems same.at the same time l can have a chance to try new model
Most importantly. They don't have pass through. I had lost one (I found it a month later) by taking it out of my ear to try to hear what was going on in my house. Pass through is way more important than noise cancelling. That's the biggest negative with the liberty pro
Next time you lose any ear bud put the other earbud back in its case and play some loud music. As you get close to your earbud you should be able to hear it. I lost both of my AirPod Pro buds and found them that way. I dropped the case and the buds flew out in different directions.
forfinkly, I am looking to buy for a pair of earbuds as well the same like you man. very good bass, quality sound, water resist. From what I saw on you tube videos, I am thinking between Liberty 2 pros(but some people are saying they have an issue is some hiss noise) and JABRA ELITE ACTIVE 75t.
I had to return mine. The Bluetooth connectivity was that bad. Constant stuttering and then the right earbud kept dropping off. Towards the end before I returned mine, both automatically shut down then power on in my ears
Qualcomm also makes AptX Low Latency codec, it has the lowest latency on any device. it pretty rare to find that codec in earbuds but gaming wireless headphones seem to use it more
When you use an iPhone all that matters is AAC which is superior to aptx in a lot of aspects (not sure about aptx HD though) so it doesn’t really matter.
Sennheiser mtw win for sound quality, soundcore for bass, sony wf1000xm3 for ANC, but the sennheiser just Excellent at Sound Quality, for overall it's like a cheap earbud

This review did not really address the sound quality. sound quality is about how well a sounder reproduction device reproduces the sound input into them. It is not about which sound I or you like better. It is sad to see how little young people know about the sound of music. Have you ever listened to a chamber concert or a symphony orchestra? An acoustic jazz quartet or a wind ensemble can reproduce a sound which can be judged by how well a device reproduces the sound input. Please study sound reproduction. Read publications like the Absolute Sound or Stereophile. There are standards. Features are secondary to sound. Kids like features, adults care about sound.
Thank you for your feedback. I believe that there are 2 routes to the perfect sound. The scientific route (like using measuring instruments and plotting against the fletcher-munsen curve) and the personal preference route, ie. what sounds best to each of us based on our unique hearing preferences and abilities. Often, it is the latter route that presents the better chance of a product becoming commercially viable, which is where true wireless earbuds are at today. But hopefully we'll see something in the near future that can satisfy the other side of the argument as well.
John Armwood, hi. Which one of the earbuds would you recommand? In the budget of max £190 and about to have good quality sound, to fit better in ears, more hours battery(7 or 8hours). Do you consider Jabra Elite Active 75t the best in this section? Or one of these: Liberty 2 Pro, Jaybird Vista, Sony WF1000XM3, BeoplayE8, Bose soundsport true wireless, Senheiser Momentum 2(but are expensive)?
Aaron is Loud and Wireless I’m using my Liberty 2 Pros with latest firmware with my new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and I can detect no hiss and neither could my wife. Perhaps this hiss people are complaining about is coming from cheap phones or they have too many devices available in the Bluetooth app, perhaps unpair and delete everything but say your watch and the Liberty 2 Pros.
