These are not the same as the orcas hunting whales. For instance the local orcas outside B. C. only eat salmon. The orcas that hunt whales are different pods in fact almost a different species and in Canada they call them transients.

I don't understand what the orcas gain from this interaction with the whale. The humpback seems to get a nicely formed bait ball it can swallow up, but if the orcas are eating the herring too why wouldn't they just keep it for themselves? Does the humpback's presense benefit the orcas somehow?

Could be for a few reasons… First of all, orcas have unique cultures for different families and this pod seems to specialize in fish. They don’t hunt or harm other mammals. And knowledge is passed down from many generations, orcas don’t really operate on instinct like the other animals do. Basically, historically, there was plenty of food around and so there was no need to fight over it (taught by the pod’s matriarch) Animals also just don’t like to take risks. Humpbacks are extremely powerful and no adult has ever been brought down by orcas. These orcas in particular also flee from much smaller pilot whales that are like a 5th of their size so…

You should talk to Robin Baird. He filmed the killer whale beaching itself and eating a seal for national geographic. According to my conversation you do not want to die alone because they stun with sound and if you're within arm's length you will be knocked unconscious. Hey Dove almost every day for 2 years n got that seen for national geographic.

That's because these Orca are much different from the subspecies or types (transient orca) which feed on larger prey like large marine mammals & sharks. These Orca only eat fish or coastal prey like rays, other fish, or unique prey a specific Pod passes knowledge of to hunt like urchin, beaching for seals, or crabs, etc. That are known as residential or coastal Orca types.
There's currently a big movement in the science community on if these are different species altogether between transient & residential orca.

God created the seas and oceans with an unparalleled grandeur and beauty, covering a large portion of the Earth's surface and serving as a vast source of life and biodiversity. The seas and oceans exemplify God's immense power and profound wisdom in maintaining environmental balance and the continuity of life.
In the Holy Quran, Allah says:
    - "And it is He who subjected the sea for you to eat from it tender meat and to extract from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships plowing through it, and He subjected it that you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful" (Surah An-Nahl: 14).
    - "And He subjected for you the sea to sail upon by His command and that you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful" (Surah Al-Jathiyah: 12).
    In the authentic Hadiths:
