Sharum Ki Sketchbook is back with yet another animated comedy sketch on the nuances of doctors and patients in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and desi communities worldwide. I know you guys have been waiting since ages but I hope you understand that I gave my best to this video. Worked real hard on this one. I mean here in Italy, dentists earn at least the double of a normal doctor, and you call them doctor. How come it's different in Pakistan?
@DZoroLost it's a Southeast Asian thing about not giving credit to med students who have done a degree other than MBBS for example a vet here is called Dangar Doctor (Cow Doctor) and it's a bit shameful for a class of people to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine and another example is of like a person who has done DPT(Doctor of Physiotherapy) is called a Malashi(a guy who gives massages)(btw it's said with such disrespect that even your ancestors feel the effect of being called this word). So it's just a matter of discrediting and limiting what a medical degree is in SouthEast Asia. Btw dentists earn more but people don't call them Doctors (which tbf is true tho). Thanks if u read my whole story.

I thought I made it in life when as a female house officer a patient came to find me to review his discharge card medicines written by consultant and if he needed any other medicine in presence of male consultant and male houseofficers because I patiently listened to his complains in the ward 2 days back.
