I know this has been such a long time since you did this, but I have a few questions. As soon as you get the Eight in your party, save, and then 3D->2D->3D in Rainbough Road chapter again, you can ultimately do this over and over again, right? No limits? Also, what's the most optimal amount of seeds that you should dupe? Shouldn't it be only 50 super seeds used per run as you need the rest of the 50 to duplicate again for the next dupe run?
You can duplicate as many times as you want but you have to do a full run every time. You can use all your seeds for the snapshot to dupe because you keep the originals for most characters and get the duped items at the end. If you mean after you get Hendrick back then yes you should save a lot of them for the next time you want to dupe. I think it's a good idea to keep some in your inventory anyway since if you use them all you can't get them back.
did this second time today and realised that filling in the skill point trees when they reset takes about half of the run. will just ignore that, give them weps and show no mercy
@@meliane6639 sorry I have so many questions, your video is the only one I think on youtube on post game duping… what is lost after doing the trick other than the sylvando side quest? Are my defeated monster list, quests, crafting stars, and recipes all going to stay safe?
@@slimbullet96 All of that stays for sure, the only other thing I know about besides story unlocks and Sylvando quest is the horse races which you also have to unlock again. I'm pretty sure you don't lose anything major, I've done a lot of these and haven't noticed losing anything else.
I have a Question I don't need Hendrik for the X Seeds, cause 99 is the maximum (i only farm Attack and Defence, the rest is on 999 already) Can I restart the Duplication as soon as i travel back in Time which would mean i can start in Arboria?
Yes, once you get your party back in Arboria after going back in time you can restart it again. You only need to kill Mordegon in Heliodor Castle if you want to duplicate Hendrick's inventory.
great video! is the bug fixed in ps4? i'm asking because after Nautica (recieve Hero) my inventory doesn't have the other characters items that gave them in Arboria. I mean, in Serena bag, for example, she had multiple of seeds, and the "general" inventory after recieve Hero doesnt have that seeds, so its not duplicated? sorry my bad english
You get the duplicated items much later in the game. You will lose your party for a short time again, and then get them all back in Arboria and that's when they will have their old duplicated items in their inventory.
Abit late and probably wont get the answer but how do you get the items off Veronica after the snap shot? Did i mess up by not grabbing everything as soon as i walked through the doors?
It's been a long time since I played so I don't know for sure what happens to Veronica's inventory. However since the snapshot isn't the same time you lose Veronica and I don't think you would permanently lose items you had on her at the end of Act 1 I think there is a good chance that you get those back at some point. Possibly along with the other party members' items from the end of Act 2 that I think go into your bag at the start of Act 3. So if that is what happens you would still duplicate the items you had on her.

Not possible to do playing normally, It might be possible using a major out of bounds glitch but I don't think it's worth doing that just to duplicate those quest rewards.
Can you tell me what about side quests progress? If I completed all side quests in post game and then come back like you did for duplication, will I lose my side quests progress and have to do them again or it all will be done? Thanks.
All the side quests stay completed except for the one that unlocks Hendricks and Sylvandos skill tree. You will have to kill the two giants in the Kingsbarrow again.

I have one question. To duplicate items I know that characters need to have them equipped near the end of chapter 1. However, I don't know if they need to be equipped just before entering Arboria or before entering the Arborian Highlands. I had the stuff I wanted to duplicate (Assassin, Shield-Bearer and Belle's Bow) and I gave them to them to 3 characters just before I entered arboria like right outside the entrance. Should I have done that earlier or am I good?
do you know if the golden claws can be duplicated ¿¿¿ the other rewards won't work, i can be sure of that. it would be great if i can have two godbird scepters, i tried to see if i can have two of each, war drum benevolence tectonic plate etcetera etcetera but it didn't work
@@meliane6639 well, it's fine. once i get everyone to 999 stats. i don't have to worry about weapons. i am farming seeds of sorcery and only veronica and rab need to reach the highest magical might, after that i'll farm seeds of therapeusis

Nope, that doesn't work, and I tested it out. I'm guessing once you grab the items in Act 3, the game activates some sort of flag that empties the 'snapshot' inventory. Since once I tried to do what you said, and got to Act 3, the game gave me characters with a completely empty inventory.
Put items in his inventory before going back to the earlier chapter, even though he's not visible in your party his items will snapshot at the same point as the other party members which is when you talk to Benedictus in Arboria.

Yes. There are no vids regarding this exploit/glitch anywhere in YT. I only see procedures of this in gaming sites. What I really want to see is the first playthrough doing this. I'm in the end of act 1 and I want to know the step by step procedure in doing this. Do I lose those things when i start act 2? Do i also lose things entering act 3 before the dupe? And also the switching between 3d and 2d, how do you do that exploit? I'm sorry for asking many questions because it's my first time doing this. On your first playthrough Act 1 the snapshot happens when you talk to Benedictus in Arboria with all the orbs, at 4:17 in the video. You don't lose anything in Act 2 besides the things you temporarily lose on party members, you keep what you snapshot and get the duplicates at the very beginning of Act 3. I don't have time to fully explain right now, but ill edit or reply again when I get time.
@@ReyKaf Sorry I couldn't make a longer reply earlier. To do the dupe you put everything you want to dupe on anyone except Hero before talking to Benedictus, because his inventory won't get duped. Things like seeds, the accessory cards like assasin, warlock etc, and any other good items or equipment like Belle's bow for jade is one that people like to dupe. A lot of the equipment will be outdated by the time you get to Act 3 unless it has some unique effect. Then after the cutscene you can go back to your normal equipment and inventory. There's nothing else you need to do, just play through the game normally and you will get your duped items early into Act 3. The thing I mentioned about having to use items before getting your party back in Act 3 doesn't apply to your first playthrough. It's just if you are duping over 99 items, since the item bag can't go over 99 of one item all that happens is you would lose some of the things that you were duping. As for the switching between 2d and 3d isn't an exploit by itself, you can do that anytime at a priest or statue. There are a few exploits that are involved with it though, I use it in this video to go from Act 3 back to just before Arboria in Act 1, letting me do the duplication trick again. If you go back to a previous point in the story using 2d you have to progress through everything again though, which is why it takes so long to do the dupe from the postgame.

They need to be equipped when you talk to Benedictus with the orbs so if you had them equipped the whole time you were in Arboria you should be good.

I haven't tried duplicating those but someone else has posted online that they can't be duplicated.

@@ReyKaf Yes you keep everything except some story related items, so I do it multiple times to be able to dupe a lot of seeds per run.
