The biggest change from episode 6 wasn't just taking down that duo. Watch the fight. She is constantly moving to the best position to cover her team. In episode 6, they fought as a group of individuals. Here they are an integrated unit.
this was a great season finale. the new jsa kicking the isa ass. and them killing icycle and brainwave was alot more than what the old jsa could have done. the new jsa was completely victorious here.
icicle can literally construct ice he just ice blast like he can literally create a ice cosmis staff instead of blasting ice like you can literally do a lot with ice powers
Just goes to show you how sorry the Old JSA was that a group of untrained kids beat the ISA hands down. Pretty easily too....but to be fair two ISA members were not present for this fight. But the new JSA wasn't at full capacity either. Stargirl at 2:48 proved that she is nothing to play with anymore.
I think you’re also forgetting the the old JSA were fighting an ISA that was in their prime and likely orchestrated how to take down the heavy hitters in the JSA. Also the shade, Grundy, Wizard, Fiddler, Gambler and Brainwave were not present for the battle cuz if they were (Especially Shade and Brainwave) this JSA wouldn’t have survived.
The original ISA had more dangerous members on hand (Shade, Brainwave, Wizard, and Fiddler). They did not have as many powerhouses this time round. Dragon King was also taken down by his treacherous daughter. It resulted in Icicle being teamed up on unlike last time.
No ones gonna talk about how Courtney took down Tigress and Sportmaster. that was awesome. She has come a long way from Episode 6.

Stargirl is amazing. They have great actors who plays amazing characters from the DC Universe. I hope they introduce them more in the future.
