  • Elon Musk recently put out a video endorsing the climate hoax and a global "carbon tax.” Watch the video with climate hoax slayer Steve Milloy -- Heartland Institute board member and founder/publisher of JunkScience.com -- as he comments on where Musk went wrong. Milloy then challenges Musk to a debate over the carbon tax. Watch for more to come on this channel from Steve Milloy.

    In 50 years, a young man not yet born will stand on the stage of a comedy club, and he will do voice impersonations of past historical figures making outlandish claims. These figures include Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck, Jane Fonda, Mark Ruffalo, and Prince Harry. The audience will laugh like crazy. The young man will then don a blonde wig with long braids and he will impersonate Greta Thunberg. By now the audience is hysterical.

      No one 50 years from now will have any idea who today's famous people are. In 1928, Walter Chrysler was the most-famous man on the planet. Would anyone today even recognize his name?

      Barely... But then I'm somewhat of a geek. Chrysler of course leads me to think of Chrysler automobiles... IDK if he (Walter) was associated with the automobiles, but then I've not done any research.

    In the last fifty million years, the co2 levels have dropped from 7000 ppm to today's level of 420 ppm co2, when we reach 150 ppm co2, all life on earth is gone.

    • @spacescatatford
      @spacescatatford 7 месяцев назад

      We stand at 420ppm of CO2 in the atmosphere. It takes 300 to 1,000 years to weather that CO2 out of the atmosphere. 500 million years ago, CO2 concentrations were at 4,000 ppm and the Sun was dramatically cooler. In 2015, CO2 concentrations passed 400ppm, more than 40% higher than its pre-industrial value of 280ppm, a level that has not existed on Earth for several million years. Presently, global drought has brought the US herd down to the same level as in 1962. CO2 concentration increases will continue to increase global drought.

      @klimatbluffen 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@spacescatatfordA very simple calculation example. In fifty million years the co2 levels have dropped from 7000 ppm to today's level of 420 ppm co2 when we reach 150 ppm co2 all life on earth is gone. How much time do we have?

    Billionaires looooove carbon taxes, they purchase carbon credits pay the taxes, the carbon tax doesn't hurt them, it only hurts poor/middle class folks. If you want to support a carbon tax move to WA. State where the Governor lied about the impact of the carbon tax, he said "pennies per gallon", it's $.40pg for gas, $50 for diesel. They created a huge beauracy that is burning through the money, not one degree lowered in temps since it was put in, same with Canada's carbon taxes. Not one degree of lowering of temps. But huge government spending programs taking the money from poor/middle class folks and giving it to the dems. Nobody in Wa. State voted to enact a carbon tax, just the dems put it in, it's going to be repealed but not before over $2 Billion will have been taken from us, the ones who can least afford it.

    Thanks Steve. I like Elon, but where does he think all CO2 came from originally? Could it be the atmosphere? All part of a cycle? If only he didn't have a vested interest here. And move to a sustainable energy source? Really? Perhaps we should find one first - the 10-25 year cycle time of replaceables isn't it.

    Something that is never mentioned is the fact there there were no land based temperature recordings made in the Southern Hemisphere in the early 19/20th Century. This means it was impossible to get a 'global' average temperature measurement without 'guessing'. Even know, there are very few stations in the Southern Hemisphere, compared to North America.

This does not mean we should abandon Fossil fuels but ensure that heating and cooking in all countries is not done by burning wood etc, Co2 emissions should also be limited in Cities or Towns,

    Lets face it, as long as people were swallowing the ev push hook line and sinker elon kept quiet. Now that enough people can see the impracticality and inconvenience of evs, sales are dropping to only those use case scenarios where evs make sense. This of course threatens him personally thus his panicked plan. You can hear the panic and urgency in his voice and tell its contrived.
    Well when the govt subsidies arent enough encouragement to buy an ev, why then you put a tax on only your competition. How about we put a carbon tax on the huge carbon deficit involved with ev production?

    The annual CO2 cycle tells you all you need to know. In the spring and summer when temperature begins warming the surface temperature of the oceans and other bodies of water, CO2 is released into the air. The reverse occurs in fall and winter. The key to this process is that temperatures increase then CO2 increases. Coloration but no causation.
