It's now that I'm listening to Amiga tracks through a high-end audio system that I notice how good some Amiga tracks actually were! Fury of the Furries for example; it never did anything for me back in the day, but hearing it now in 'full': Wow.
Some of my friends connected their Amiga to stereo system and it really made the difference. Downside was that you were only allowed to use that when none else was home. Shoot 'em ups were unbearable for others to hear.
I played Alien Breed with my friend. It was awesome and I think we beat it. Very atmospheric. Remember the cracked computer ports? Also, remember being careful not to shoot the fire door control button? Shoot that and the door couldn't be opened again. If you are playing two player and you're on different sides of that closed door, it was game over! Best of all, when you pressed the button to detonate the destruct system for the level and had to race against the clock to get back to the elevator. Hair-raising fun!
Gaming today just doesn't seem to have the same effect on me as it did when I was playing on my Amiga, Spectrum, Electron. They were new exciting times, every advancement brought with it great new games. What are we left with mostly today? Sequels and remasters. If I could buy season tickets to go back in time every day I would. Thanks for uploading this trip down memory lane.
Same, Amiga still excites me today, no current gen consoles or computer has made me go wow,, Amiga never stopped impressing me, 16-bit is king and always will be, back when games were fun, games had catchy music, more arcade style games, more movies brought to consoles, every 2nd tv commercial was all to do with 8bit and 16bit gaming advertisements, I can't remember the last time i saw a gaming or console related commercial, back in the 80's and 90's the media knew they were on to something, now days why bother :)
A great list in this Video. I don't watch TV, so being a big Commodore fan, I listen to a lot of Music here on You Tube. Was listening to this Playlist while I was editing, it really helps. Only the Adverts were it's flaws. I must sort this in the future. Great compilation 👍
I've listened to this video so much while working and the Jaguar XJ220 track always relaxes me so much. Takes me back in time to racing along those roads. Wasn't it called Moody Blues or something like that?
Who'd like to nerd with me. I not easily obtained.. i dont even kniw why i try. But i wanna do something respectable with the melodies i love.. i drum and do music with heart. Oh i live the bass too, but its not my department...i dont really have more to say. Yes one thing is all rights are preserved and loved with care ..
Fury of the Furries is playing too fast - presumably a 50/60Hz issue on the playback Amiga/emulator/player...sounds kind of funny playing at that speed... 🤣
I suffer from depression too. It's a terrible illness but try to be positive and know that people do recover from it. My trick is to count my blessings e.g. I don't live on the Gaza strip. The great memories we have of our Amiga gaming days will always be with us. My top game: Speedball 2.

The game lets you choose between PAL and NTSC as an ingame option, so technical both speeds are intended...but I got waht you saying.
