As a Portuguese commercial fisherman who has lived on cape cod my entire life and fishes out of Provicetown i'm glad you had a good time while you were here . Next time your at the Portuguese Bakery make sure to try the trunta's trust me . Come back for portuguese festival it's amazing and it ends on the last sunday of June with the Blessing of the Fleet . All the boats are decorated and blessed on the pier and there are parties and dancers and music , it's really pretty specail and amazing .
Such a beautiful young couple. My better half and I are heading to Provincetown now for part of our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. We first went there in 1979, driving our hippie VW bus. This time in an electric car. Thank you for sharing.
When I was a little girl back in the fifties and sixties my family often vacationed on the Cape. Back then there were no sharks to speak of and we were always in the water. I think it was when seal fishing was banned and the seal population exploded that the sharks came because that is their main diet. Really enjoyed your video.
I'm lucky enough to be housesitting on the Cape right now!! Swimming in Cape Cod Bay is safer than swimming on the Atlantic side...and if you see a seal, GET OUT OF THE WATER! The shellfish rule of thumb I grew up with is to only harvest wild in months that contain the letter "r"....essentially non-hot weather months.
Oooh..Cape Cod...fell in love with back in the 80's when we first went there. Drove up/down the peninsula(?) and felt like we were 'home.' When we were in P-town, I watched this svelte leg emerging from a VW Beetle...slowly exiting until this gorgeous 'woman'...all 6'3" of 'her' appeared. I didn't know the gay community was prevalent here. Every location, every lunch/dinner, every experience..and, yes, jumping into the Atlantic, swimming with the rest of the ice cubes..were all overwhelming...and this from a happy mid-westener! Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. ❤ Onward and upward!
I just stumbled across this video.. I live 100 miles west of P-town, I try to spend at least 3 long weekends at different guest houses throughout the summer 😅 . I've been doing this since 1989. Yes I'm that old lol. Please come back and explore other Mass destinations 😊
@@ChadandClaireMind readers Unite 😅 Well our pug...Pugmaster and big rottweiler Sasha love going to a dog-friendly Beach. So much happy times there. Also they so love walking on promenades and in woods especially if it has a stream or river. Also both dog's love swimming and retrieving frisbees in lakes. We use a smaller rubber frisbee that the Pug can handle. And you can get them both floatation vests. So a tour of dog-friendly beaches would be great for viewers and dogs will go in the water even if even if it's their first time...just following other dogs !! And that's a great introduction to water. Swimming pools can be scary for first time...unless they know there's a ramp they can get in and out of pool easily. Great to hear will get more pug time content 🎯 🐶🐶

I'm from Finland and I have been to Cape Cod 10+ years ago. Also then there was a strong gay culture. Me & my wife witnessed a gay wedding too. Did you go to the Truro vineyards? Great place.
Both the Herring Cove Beach and the Race Point Beach are not the names of a national seashore, they're beaches that're located within the Cape Cod National Seashore. Also, Provincetown isn't even a city, it's a census-designated place (CDP) that's located within the town of the same name.

I know the question is directed to them but I certainly would. I manage once a year and that’s about my limit. On the rare occasion I may travel twice in the year. And you ?
Yes! Especially recently we have been longing to spend more time at home with our doggos. As you may notice we have begun the process of posting slower, that way when we do travel we can genuinely enjoy it and our time at home is special as well.
@davemac5260 Which explains why alot of friends like traveling with me 🤷♂️ In fact, I'm traveling from New York to Arizona this week and 5 friends asked to come along. Only had room for 3 though
