Just some useless information, the music Channel 9 used leading into the Chris Bombalas intro is called "The Big League" from Castle Music 12 (KPM Music)

As much as Qld would easily win this game and the series, the nucleus of this Blues side ... Laurie Daley, Chris Johns, Bradley Clyde, Paul Sironen, Des Hasler, Andrew Ettingshausen and Glenn Lazarus, along with others like Benny Elias, Ricky Stuart, David Gillespie, Brad Fittler, Rod Wishart and Ian Roberts, would actually dominate 4 of the first 5 years of 1990s Origin.
The early-mid 90s might have seen the Broncos come to prominence in the Winfield Cup, but it coincided with a period of NSW dominating Origin. Of course, we know that it didn't last.
