      I said this exact same thing and I’m from America. My husband is born and raised Jamaican but he doesn’t speak in his Native tongue unless he’s speaking to his family and I’ve always had an issue with that. It’s not like I wouldn’t understand and if there’s something he’d say and i didn’t understand, he could just clarify it. I’m from Louisiana and I speak in my accent for the most part unless someone doesn’t understand and then I’d speak a bit clearer. I love love love different accents! I do like that about Spice, however, I don’t like the fact that she’s pushing this whole Black hypocrisy thing and being yourself, yet she looks like everyone else with the colored hair and tight clothes to fit in...maybe I’m wrong 😩 I want to see her how she was before...that’s just my opinion though 🤷🏽‍♀️

    She's not lying about the Chinese taking over Jamaica. I live in Kingston and every business places are either run by the Chinese, Indians, Latinos etc. there are hardly any black persons who run efficient businesses here. Jamaicans rather cater to foreigners than their own. If Jamaicans actually stop fighting, killing, bashing each other and accept that colorism exists then maybe the country would run better.

    • @Ginmahoh4
      @Ginmahoh4 6 лет назад +22

      I think she understands that racism exists. I believe her frustration is that while we struggle to control the actions of others and continue to petition for equality we have the ability to control our own actions and don't. How can we combat racism if we can't stand together unified? I understand the history of colorism and I'm sure Spice does as well, but at some point we have to be accountable and do better for ourselves as we push for others to be accountable and do better by us. imo

    😂😂😂 That fatty thing had me dead because it’s so true a lot of people think Jamaicans are rude, it’s just that we call it like it is. And we don’t have to worry about offending anyone but of course in America we have a lot of different racial backgrounds so I guess that’s why people get more sensitive!
