I support her re-recording her songs and owning them. I bought her first album 3 times! But man I've never heard 1 remake that actually sounded as good as the original. It's damn near impossible to achieve sonically. But I will definitely give it a listen.
Michael Jackson did it with Thriller in the mid 00s and it sounded exactly the same. I believe Prince rerecorded his stuff too and it sounds the same. You can't even tell the difference.

That's not how Masters work. Publishing and writer's rights combined with the freedom to use and move them as u choose, profiting solely is what we call Masters. Writers rights are the artists'... Publishing be leveraged on the money invested and moves busted for said artist. They can usually play for their publishing at regular intervals, with many choosing bigger pay outs over owning their pub.
