i edit all the audio first, mix it down, and then i start syncing up the video in a different program, called final cut pro. so audio first, then video!

I'll guess nobody sees this 14 years later but I'm just gonna throw it out there... Jack, this is your version of "Saturn" from Gustav Holst's "The Planets" (1918). With the amount of energy you burn (saw you at a show in LA), only you could give that piece this kind of raw intensity.

canon vixia hf10 ! home video camera. but i did a lot of color correction. i crunched the blacks, and raised the whites, which basically increases the contrast. then i desaturated a lot of the shots, too.
