I noticed that. They go 2&2 vs Wisconsin, Washington, Nebraska and usc the other 8 games are very winnable. They may finish 10&2 and be an absolute punching bag for someone in the playoffs. I think they will be +/- 5.5 with both home games and did well in the portal and have a coach that's great for them and has them playing well above their roster talent the last 2 years. If OSU goes 12-0, could have 3 11-1 teams since Oregon, Penn State and Rutgers don't play one another. Most likely would be in Big10 championship since OSU plays both Oregon and Penn State and wouldn't likely get a rematch if there is a third 11-1.

I know everyone says Florida has the toughest schedule, and yes, it is insanely tough. But Michigan is the only team playing 3 of the preseason top 4! It is crazy they play #2 Ohio State (on the road no less), #3 Texas and #4 Oregon. Like Florida, this is also insanely tough. But whereas Florida plays more "good" teams, Michigan plays 3 of the 4 teams people actually think have a shot of winning the National Championship (and no Buckeye fans, I'm not talking about your Off Season National Championship). Add in USC (still a talented team), a game at Washington (despite what they lose it's a tough road environment & their fans will be out for blood and revenge) and of course, the pesky Little Brother, MSU, who lives for nothing else but to (try to) beat Michigan.
Michigan's schedule is easily the hardest in the Big Ten (especially compared to the joke schedule Ohio State has and the easy schedule Penn State has) and is one of the most difficult in the country.
Also, I'd like to add, Fresno St is one of the worst G5 teams to schedule. They're always good and if you beat them, you get absolutely no credit. I'd much rather face one of Ohio State's cupcakes than Fresno.

In fact, most of the offseason moves have been similar to what Michigan had last year with a lot of guys choosing to stay another year when they could have left. That's also why they have 18 guys that could get drafted. Same could be true for next year's Buckeyes.

Oregon and to a lesser extent Penn St can be possible Ls for OSU. OSU should beat Michigan by at the least 10 points. Nebraska isn’t ready for OSU specially at the horseshoe. Oregon could go through the Big 18 reg season undefeated but expect OSU to win a rematch in the conference champ game if Oregon goes unbeaten. Or less likely Oregon drops a game besides OSU. So 2 Ls at the most for Oregon while unbeaten or 1 loss is probable. Osu should go either unbeaten or 1 loss with 2Ls being the most. Osu less likely to lose more than 1 big 18 game

They have the talent at OL to run the ball every play on Missou and they didn't just like how USC had the talent at DL and DB. And with Ohio State's standard, 10-2 or 9-3 I would consider a bust. Talented roster didn't save Miami, USC or Texas AM. Washington was around 25th in talent and they handled Texas, beat Oregon by 3 twice. Michigan is great every year despite relatively lower talent compared to the top dogs. Capitalize on Chip Kelly and those RBs and they'll be golden.

@@zehsackett6132 you obviously don’t know football, injuries are apart of the game. But to fairly evaluate a team you don’t do it when the team isn’t even near full strength. Thats like a man fighting with an arm tied behind his back loses to a man with both arms and saying the man with 1 arm was more talented and still should’ve won. Missouri played a mostly healthy Georgia team tough at Georgia so that shows Missouri was a good team. Like I said the oline had a couple of reshuffles on it and when Missouri sees a true freshman 3rd string qb with no significant snaps they load the box and bring constant pressure. All of that contributes to the result, so if you take much stock in that bowl game that makes you a casual. Any team in OSU’s situation would’ve lost too. You said Michigan? lol. They were the #1 pass defense and will be better than they were last year. If the run defense is as good or even slightly better scoring on OSU will be very, very challenging. The question is how good will the offense be? 2024 OFFENSE will be a run dominate offense. Kelly EMPHASIZES the running game in particular the QB run. Once that gets cranked up that is when Kelly will punish the defense for creeping up to stop the run. We will see but I am of the opinion that this is potentially one of the best teams in school history.

"No question"? I'd say there is a question.
Let's go through a little exercise. If you put the Ohio State defense and the Michigan defense together and then had a "draft" to rank the players, I think you can make a very compelling case Michigan has 3 of the top 4 (or at the very least top 5) players.
The players in contention for those top spots would be Caleb Downs, Will Johnson, Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant. The other Ohio State player I'd put in the discussion is Denzel Burke, but I don't think he's as good as Will Johnson, a to me he seems like the number 5 player to me. If you wanted to put him above Kenneth Grant, I'd maybe listen, but I'd think you were clearly wrong. The number one spot would come down to Caleb Downs and Mason Graham, but I'd give the slight edge to Downs but I'd be tempted to choose Graham since an elite disruptive DT has way more impact on a game than a safety.
Also, I'm sick of hearing about JTT, who has lived off his HS recruiting status and 1 game against Penn State two seasons ago. The same goes for the "Third Bosa Brother" Jack Sawyer, who has also made a reputation off of his HS recruiting ranking. They're good players, but they are far from elite.
Ultimately, I do think Ohio State gets the edge for having a bunch of old players with experience and their depth.
But I wouldn't go so far as to say it's without question; which was the purpose of the little exercise above.
