This was great! I loved seeing lip swatches of all of the shades. It was very helpful!! I’m going to try Lisa! How could I pass up a shade named Lisa! I honestly think the Ribbon shade looked great on you! I think it does suit you! (But if you don’t like reds on you, that’s all that really matters.) I really like that the refills have a nice cap and can be stored nicely without a case, so you truly do only need one case. It’s great you can use it without the case if you want to just slap it on and not change your case. It’s so much more functional than many refillable lipsticks! Also, I love your nails!!

Based on how they looked on Lisa, I passed on Simone - which reminded me of Intrigue and Le Mepris, which I own, as well as Medici - which reminded me of Muse and Rose official, which I also own, and lastly I passed on Ribbon, because I too have a hard time wearing reds, even Lisa’s, which are all beautiful. Although, I may change my mind, after I receive my order and experience the new formula for myself. I would love to see some swatch comparisons between these new shades and her older colors.

I'm waiting for more colours 😅 I got obsessed with Carol Brailley videos and now I can't unsee that my best LE lipstick colours are Velvet Morning and Strawberry Shock. Warm brights really suit me so Audrey is probably the colour that would suit me best from this first release, but I have Go Lightly gloss and I think that must be fairly similar. Lovely video, thanks for doing it for us. I have ordered Ashes of Roses and wanted to see what Romy looked like on you as I am fair but not as pale as you. I think I've learned (I'm in my 50s!) that the ring lights and studio lights in Lisa's case, alter how the actual colours appear in real life. Would you be able to take a few snaps wearing the colours in natural daylight for your Insta? It's so helpful in any case and lovely to hear from someone who is not paid or influenced to do it!
I'm not a red lip kinda girl, either. But I find Ribbon stunning on you, you should pair it with Dior contour lip liner, there's a good shade - Red Smile, I think, since Lisa doesn't have a red lip liner. The Dior pencils are gorgeous, so good quality and long wearing. I love Lisa's lipsticks, I have ordered Medici and Romy and while waiting for them, I'm checking if my choice was right. I love the case too. Medici (pronounced MED-e-chee, like the famous Florentine banking family) is my favorite. But I think my Rouge Allure in Inattendu (discontinued) is a good dupe from reviews I've seen. I love all of these on you. I think Audrey will be a difficult color for many people to pull off, but I love it on you. In fact I love them all on you. I love the satin finish of them all and prefer them with a liner. She had a fancy purse flacon for her perfume that she gave me. Probably because it was missing a stone or two (it was completely encrusted with rhinestones) but I was a kid and didn't care. I loved it because it was hers and it was beautiful. I still have it and I'm so glad. It still smells like her signature scent, so I can take it out every once in a while and go back in time. 🥰
I like the more everyday shades yet none is a must have for me. On you most of them are stunning! I am most interested in Ashes of Rose yet will wait for more swatches. I would love to see comparisons with Kitten Mischieve which is an everday for me.

Ashes of Roses and Lisa look great on you - The first is deeper and more complex than it looked on Lisa, which makes it more appealing to me. I'm pale skinned (a bit paler than you I think!), but I need a bit of contrast/depth on my lips: Romy and Simone are a big NO for me (but I'm sure a lot of people will love them). Medici is definitely cooler and more muted than I expected, guess that's off my list. But I'm looking forward to seeing Bohemian Cherry, my little goth heart can't help itself 😂

I like the shade I chose (Lisa) but I don’t think the formula is as nice as Lucient for me. Although I appreciate the innovation with the packaging I don’t really love the case it’s heavy and bulky and mine has a small gap under the gold band like the refill doesn’t fit perfectly. Underwhelmed this time I’m afraid but great video showcasing these and I actually think you suit the Ribbon shade x

Medici doesn'' look cooltoned on camera, it seems to be slightly brown. On tge website it's tipical mauve. Is it xamera or does it really tend to be not as cooltoned as it's supposted to be? Thanks in advance

Medici was an Italian banking family who rose to political power and became monarchs in the 16 century. It’s a famous name, pronounced “meh-dee-chee”. This was the shade I selected first, do love a mauve! Romy with the 2c liner looked lovely on you.

Hi, I will be one of those that will disagree. You look stunning in that Ribbon. At least under the circumstances you filmed this. I would have thought that I wouldn't have liked it either. You are in the same color family as I am, but you have more color (or more makeup, I can' really say which because I'm not good enough at this to tell the difference. I'm not using makeup as a rule, though my collection would have me being a makeup artist, by how much I own). You even seem to have the same eye color as me, even if you lean into the red pigmentation, where I lean into the ashy cold ones. Thank you for making this video. I find it difficult to figure out what the colors would look like on me, because there aren't enough people on my approximate coloring demonstrating her makeup. Her support people are great, but finding someone more like me to watch, helps me over a few hurdles. My tint of Lisa's is shade T1 and her foundation selection for me is 1,3, and 5. So very pale. I also have cold undertones that originates in blue rather than pink, and you and I have about the same original lip color. I won't be getting Ribbon for myself either. I have it in the Velvet range and I like Duchess better on me, even if the only reason for Ribbon is the color of my competition own. I'm thinking about having a new one made in Midnight, or whatever other color my designer and I come up with anyway. Long story, not relevant. I get away with Duchess with my gown, and I need lots of pigments and staying power that can take a long hot shower without budging. We compete under stage lighting conditions, with up to 12-24 couples on the floor at the same time per round, unless you go straight to finals where there are only circa 6. You sweat like any other athlete in your heavy polyester gown, and your and your partner are literally surrounding each other in Standard, my discipline. Again, thank you so much for the video. Now I still have to decide on what color I like the most, but it will definitely be a cool one not a neutral. I also came to a decision about C1 or C2 pencil. Yours, Ann

@@hanbeauty101 Hello, Thank you for the kind answer. Yes. It's one of the aspects of Lisa's makeup that I love. I also love that I haven't had any allergic response or any breakouts from them. I also like that they stay on until I want them to come off. My skin, for whatever reason, eats makeup, or take it for a walk around the face. Not hers from my experience so far. Her Velvet lipstick stays where it should for at least an hour, and that's a lot for me. Her eye shadow can stay to last for a child's birthday party. A whole new experience, and those Liquid Lurexes, if I for some reason I don't take i off before bed they will be there the next day. I haven't tried the Liquid Silks yet but if they are as good as the Lurexes I'll have a perfect base for any eyelook I could ever dream up. I usually have my hair and makeup done professionally when I compete, if there are makeup artists and hair people around. If there aren't anyone I make a very paired back makeup version version myself, and my trainer/partner is good at hair from doing his partner's when he was actively competing, so he kindly does it for me. If you've seen Strictly or Dancing with the stars, I compete in the same concept, Pro/Am, where I'm the very much the Am. Best Regards, Ann

Okay so the red looks really nice on you, though I know what you mean about it being too much. Sometimes with a red I feel like it’s best to let it stand out so I do very minimal eyeshadow (if any), liner (top only), mascara, neutral blush or a blush with the same undertone as the red. I love a good red though.
I under stand when you say that your mind will not be changed regarding a red lipstick but in all honesty if you did not have that eyeshadow colour, maybe something neutral or even just mascara then the red really does not look at all bad.
Wait, what about Bohemian Cherry??!! That's the one I want the most and it appears to be already sold out???!!! I bought Ribbon for now but oh how much I want Bohemian Cherry!!! I can't believe it's gone already!!!! Edit: I know I won't change your mind but man, if you wore no, or very subtle eyeshadow and then wore Ribbon, it would be ridiculously beautiful on you because it makes your already insanely gorgeous eyes pop even more!!!! I know that the cosmetics companies are pushing refillable lipsticks. But when you think about it, after a few months, even with careful usage, the case gets a bit worn out. I am all for recycling, but I would prefer a new case every time I buy a lipstick. Let's be honest, how many refills would you buy, across the dozens of top brands which sell refillable cases. After saying this, the lipsticks are very beautiful.
I like the nudes. I think it’s great that she is doing the discount with refills. I love Simone. But I also was looking at the ashes of roses and Romy. I’ll prob start with one and see about formula. I thought that too about the wedding band look.

I'm waiting for more colours 😅 I got obsessed with Carol Brailley videos and now I can't unsee that my best LE lipstick colours are Velvet Morning and Strawberry Shock. Warm brights really suit me so Audrey is probably the colour that would suit me best from this first release, but I have Go Lightly gloss and I think that must be fairly similar. These Carol Brailley videos are saving me a lot of money 😂

Lovely video, thanks for doing it for us. I have ordered Ashes of Roses and wanted to see what Romy looked like on you as I am fair but not as pale as you. I think I've learned (I'm in my 50s!) that the ring lights and studio lights in Lisa's case, alter how the actual colours appear in real life. Would you be able to take a few snaps wearing the colours in natural daylight for your Insta? It's so helpful in any case and lovely to hear from someone who is not paid or influenced to do it!

I'm not a red lip kinda girl, either. But I find Ribbon stunning on you, you should pair it with Dior contour lip liner, there's a good shade - Red Smile, I think, since Lisa doesn't have a red lip liner. The Dior pencils are gorgeous, so good quality and long wearing.
I love Lisa's lipsticks, I have ordered Medici and Romy and while waiting for them, I'm checking if my choice was right.

I love the case too. Medici (pronounced MED-e-chee, like the famous Florentine banking family) is my favorite. But I think my Rouge Allure in Inattendu (discontinued) is a good dupe from reviews I've seen. I love all of these on you. I think Audrey will be a difficult color for many people to pull off, but I love it on you. In fact I love them all on you. I love the satin finish of them all and prefer them with a liner. She had a fancy purse flacon for her perfume that she gave me. Probably because it was missing a stone or two (it was completely encrusted with rhinestones) but I was a kid and didn't care. I loved it because it was hers and it was beautiful. I still have it and I'm so glad. It still smells like her signature scent, so I can take it out every once in a while and go back in time. 🥰

Ashes of Roses and Lisa look great on you - The first is deeper and more complex than it looked on Lisa, which makes it more appealing to me. I'm pale skinned (a bit paler than you I think!), but I need a bit of contrast/depth on my lips: Romy and Simone are a big NO for me (but I'm sure a lot of people will love them).
Medici is definitely cooler and more muted than I expected, guess that's off my list. But I'm looking forward to seeing Bohemian Cherry, my little goth heart can't help itself 😂

I like the shade I chose (Lisa) but I don’t think the formula is as nice as Lucient for me. Although I appreciate the innovation with the packaging I don’t really love the case it’s heavy and bulky and mine has a small gap under the gold band like the refill doesn’t fit perfectly. Underwhelmed this time I’m afraid but great video showcasing these and I actually think you suit the Ribbon shade x

Medici doesn'' look cooltoned on camera, it seems to be slightly brown. On tge website it's tipical mauve. Is it xamera or does it really tend to be not as cooltoned as it's supposted to be?

Medici was an Italian banking family who rose to political power and became monarchs in the 16 century. It’s a famous name, pronounced “meh-dee-chee”. This was the shade I selected first, do love a mauve! Romy with the 2c liner looked lovely on you.

Hi, I will be one of those that will disagree. You look stunning in that Ribbon. At least under the circumstances you filmed this. I would have thought that I wouldn't have liked it either. You are in the same color family as I am, but you have more color (or more makeup, I can' really say which because I'm not good enough at this to tell the difference. I'm not using makeup as a rule, though my collection would have me being a makeup artist, by how much I own). You even seem to have the same eye color as me, even if you lean into the red pigmentation, where I lean into the ashy cold ones.
Thank you for making this video. I find it difficult to figure out what the colors would look like on me, because there aren't enough people on my approximate coloring demonstrating her makeup. Her support people are great, but finding someone more like me to watch, helps me over a few hurdles. My tint of Lisa's is shade T1 and her foundation selection for me is 1,3, and 5. So very pale. I also have cold undertones that originates in blue rather than pink, and you and I have about the same original lip color.
I won't be getting Ribbon for myself either. I have it in the Velvet range and I like Duchess better on me, even if the only reason for Ribbon is the color of my competition own. I'm thinking about having a new one made in Midnight, or whatever other color my designer and I come up with anyway. Long story, not relevant. I get away with Duchess with my gown, and I need lots of pigments and staying power that can take a long hot shower without budging. We compete under stage lighting conditions, with up to 12-24 couples on the floor at the same time per round, unless you go straight to finals where there are only circa 6. You sweat like any other athlete in your heavy polyester gown, and your and your partner are literally surrounding each other in Standard, my discipline.

@@hanbeauty101 Hello, Thank you for the kind answer. Yes. It's one of the aspects of Lisa's makeup that I love. I also love that I haven't had any allergic response or any breakouts from them. I also like that they stay on until I want them to come off. My skin, for whatever reason, eats makeup, or take it for a walk around the face. Not hers from my experience so far. Her Velvet lipstick stays where it should for at least an hour, and that's a lot for me. Her eye shadow can stay to last for a child's birthday party. A whole new experience, and those Liquid Lurexes, if I for some reason I don't take i off before bed they will be there the next day. I haven't tried the Liquid Silks yet but if they are as good as the Lurexes I'll have a perfect base for any eyelook I could ever dream up.
I usually have my hair and makeup done professionally when I compete, if there are makeup artists and hair people around. If there aren't anyone I make a very paired back makeup version version myself, and my trainer/partner is good at hair from doing his partner's when he was actively competing, so he kindly does it for me. If you've seen Strictly or Dancing with the stars, I compete in the same concept, Pro/Am, where I'm the very much the Am. Best Regards, Ann

Okay so the red looks really nice on you, though I know what you mean about it being too much. Sometimes with a red I feel like it’s best to let it stand out so I do very minimal eyeshadow (if any), liner (top only), mascara, neutral blush or a blush with the same undertone as the red. I love a good red though.

I under stand when you say that your mind will not be changed regarding a red lipstick but in all honesty if you did not have that eyeshadow colour, maybe something neutral or even just mascara then the red really does not look at all bad.

I know that the cosmetics companies are pushing refillable lipsticks. But when you think about it, after a few months, even with careful usage, the case gets a bit worn out. I am all for recycling, but I would prefer a new case every time I buy a lipstick. Let's be honest, how many refills would you buy, across the dozens of top brands which sell refillable cases.
After saying this, the lipsticks are very beautiful.
