Gary Thomson Joinery doing fine just now and doing some more RUclips vids so keeping me busy. I really hope so but Nick Z said their might not be due to logistics? There’s a Makers fair in Glasgow next year though which a subscriber of mine DM’d me about, I’ll send it over bud. Hope all is good with you pal? 👍
Gary what are the fixings that you use to the stone. Also what is that ? adhesive thing you put on posts before you fix to stone? Why if you are screwing it in? Cheers. Appreciate your work and videos.
I'm asking just where you are located with that East Texas accent I hear. You have a lot of room in your shop; mine is rather crowded; I have to step outside just to turn round. Located over here in the Chicago area doing wood work. Currently making some walnut boxes for a Chicago client. I'm a self taught guy after having been in the printing work all the first career. Lots of similarities between the two occupations. I work some of my projects in inches and others in metric. If it is a lot of multiples in sizing I find metric much simpler. See a few of my vids on RUclips as Vincent Rolfe (cap V and R) or else you get a man in London area (same name) that likes bars, bands and beer. You have whirlybirds over there; I have noisy gents in antique bi and tri planes from a small airport that like to fly over the roof tops and go in mass.
So, Gary, you are up by Aberdeen? We (Henry Rolfe) had originally come from Downton Wiltshire some years ago. I still keep contact with them and set a place for them at the table; although they never come over for dinner.?
Hi Vincent I’m located on the cost, north east of Scotland. Living in Aberdeen. Workshop looks bigger on camera. Better working in millimetres than inches although when I first started 40 years ago everything was in inches 😄 I’ll check out your channel and thanks for watching 👍
