- The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift was finally launched in India today at a starting price of Rs 6.49 lacs, whereas the top-end AGS version costs Rs 9.64 lacs. At this price, it is only Rs 20,000 cheaper than Baleno. But mind you, the Baleno is available with discounts of up to Rs 38,000, thus making the Nexa hatch a better buy. What's impressive though is the fact that the Swift 2024 gets several safety features as standard including 6 airbags, ABS, Hill-hold assist, 3-point seatbelts (with reminder) among others.

The instrument console At 5:09 the dials on right for the speedometer there is no circular outer ring as it can be seen for the tachometer. If the speedometer is not digital why not make chrome ring for both or totally remove it. This is kind of odd 😞..

"Need" toh bahut saari hoti hain viewers ki. For e.g., at this point, I need to know about how the new 3-cylinder drives! That need is something you cannot decide for any viewer. Nitpick kiya, because aapke har video mei ye baat dimaag mei aati thi 😄 Keep up the great content 👍
So they introduced insulation under hood to cater 3 cylinder noise, this car will vibrate like wagonR on traffic signal.

3cyl can be deal breaker for many . Especially without any hybrid. Because with hybrid , issue of 3cyl ie low end torque could be rectified. You can definitely feel difference@ hills bw 3cyl and a 4cyl car. Moreover if vibes are under check than great product.

Everybody is ranting about the 3 cylinders. Bt my friends due to bs 6 phase 2 vehicles manufacturing cost has gone up significantly making it very difficult for automobile makers to keep the price low with 4 cylinders. generally swift buyers are normal middle class people, for them low price matters more rather than 4 cylinders... If engine is reliable and decently smooth most of the people not even notice..and just to remind you all, that most of the best sellers in this segment comes with 3 cylinders( tata punch), even nexon comes with 3 cylinder, most of the common people don't care if it does the job decently..cheers🥂🥂

I completely agree with your point, but this 3 cylinder car is exactly 1 lakh costly than Hyundai 4 cylinder.
Just to give comparison Baleno is just 40k costly than this, and it has way more features than this. Swift is overpriced now.

Not at all. Maruti Suzuki has developed the engine after thoroughly research and development. In fact Maruti's K10 engine is famous for its smoothness and long term reliability. Of course 3 cylinder imbalance vibration will be there at idle rpm which will vanish after revv increases.

Sir one thing you forgot while comparing base model of the new Swift and Baleno -- that the new one comes with 6airbags and other safety add-ons.
Like personally I don't want many gizmos, but do want airbags, so LXI makes more sense.

at first glance it looked like mini cooper knock off , but the closer the camera got , the bonnet seemed out of place.. like there is uneven line between headlights & hood of the car. I like that rear passengers get little bit bigger window due to placement of rear door handle.
Standard safety features are good. No doubt the response will be good like all Swift generations !!

I20 looks value for money now.
So if I am right then you can get Punch,altroz,i10,i20,baleno and exter in swift’s price point.

Swift was the enthusiastic driver's car from suzuki, now with 3 cylinder engine with 8BHP less power it became a commuter's car. It should have been launched with 1.0 turbo engine.

from 1500 cc 4 cylinder to 1200 cc 3 cylinder .. swift have come a long way. its basically a celerio upgrade . beleno or swift ke comparision mey engine bhul gye bhaiya .. baleno has 4 cylinder where as this has 3.
So Honda Amaze will be the only 4 cyl Japanese you can buy in this price range. Eventually, this Swift engine will also start coming in Baleno.
They converted in 3 cylinder and atleast mild hybrid should be given in base trims and topper variants with strong hybrid options

3 cylinder and 4 cylinder does make a major difference. I have a swift 2023 CNG and the ride is so smooth that you can't differentiate between petrol and cng. Amazing mileage of more than what company claims. I got 39.9 kms per kg!!!! Driving at 90 to 120 kmph. Sad, really sad that maruti went Tata way.

Vibration is the worst in 3 cylinder no matter what a car company does the mechanical challenges of it remains.
1.3 litre engine that swift had from esteem was even better than 1.2 litre k series .But now swift is a big big disappointment they have reduced 1 cylinder from the engine they have reduced the power from 90PS to 82PS there is not much change in quality levels .Price has increased significantly. Swift has lost its handling carm with every new generation. So swift has lost everything that made it a swift
